It appears the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), have decided on Sredojevic Milutin alias Micho, to become the new permanent coach of the Super Eagles.
The NFF, have already opened talks with the Serbian, who is currently working as coach of Uganda’s national team since the African Nations Championship in January this year.
Technical Committee chairman, Chris Green, met with Micho in Rwanda and it is believed that the former Rwanda and Orlando Pirates manager, will be heading to Nigeria, when the two-match mandate given to Samson Siasia and his assistants expires.
“Green met with Micho at CHAN and it is like it is already a done deal. The plan was to appoint Shuaibu Amodu for the Egypt matches and after those games, a substantive foreign coach will be named with Micho in pole position,” a top official disclosed to MTNFootball.
“But Amodu declined the post because he is hypertensive and so the temporary arrangement of Siasia and co, who have been told they will revert to their previous posts after the matches against Egypt.”
Another source added: “Micho’s representatives have told me they have established a link with the NFF for quite some time now.

*My only fear is that if they couldnt pay Oliseh on time, wont it be the same story with a foreign coach?
Goodluck
ReplyDeleteWhere is Ben Bruce when you need him#buynaijatosavenaija#
DeleteWhy will he not emerge hot favorite. Shebi na white man. U will see how ur monkey players and NFF staffers will start saying "yesah" to this one now. But nooooo. If na their own person dem no go fit respect am or give am chance to work.
DeleteHhmmm???
ReplyDeleteConfused people. Dear na d same thing e go be
ReplyDeleteThey will definitely treat him better than oliseh because he's white....tueh....
ReplyDeleteAa much as I don't like oliseh, it's clear nff were discussing about his job with this white guy.....
Exactly, they have been discussing with him and they were only angry because Oliseh didn't allow them to sack him.
DeleteIt is well ooo, I don't like soccer if not I 4 talk wella, make I stop here.
ReplyDeleteNigeria owe foreign coach k
ReplyDeleteDon't we have capable Nigerians to coach d team?
ReplyDeleteGood for them
ReplyDeleteWas thinking the same thing. But they might cover their shame and pay this coach on time since he is not from nigeria
ReplyDeleteHmmmmmmmmmmmmm
ReplyDeleteThis is a good decision on the part of NFF. They will not mess up with the salary of a foreign coach like they did Oliseh. Expatriates are always favoured in Nigeria than the citizens. Even the players will behave better because there is no familiarity here.
ReplyDeleteTruth! They will definitely favour him since he is a foreign coach and the players will respect his white skin.
DeleteYet,they will look down on a Nigerian coach. Na see finish be dat.
Imagine,Serbia not even better country.
Na their wahala be that
ReplyDeleteActually it won't be the same as Oliseh as the foreign coach will be paid on time. NFF will settle for a relatively unknown foreign coach who will agree to salary splitting. The officials of NFF is as corrupt as the Nigerian police.
ReplyDeleteMy theory on the Oliseh saga is that the NFF officials didn't know how to ask him for kickback hence his salary being withheld.
Okay, the earlier the better so he can start work and straighten out our Eagles.
ReplyDeleteForeign coach, where will they get the dollars to pay him with. The last time I checked they want us to patronise made in Nigeria goods. Hmmmmmm ok I really wish change can begin with our leaders telling themselves the truth.
ReplyDeleteThey respect foreign coaches than home based. They won't dare.
ReplyDeleteThey should have gone for that guy that won 2 cups back to back with i think angola.
ReplyDeleteStella, nff not payin keshi is intentional jor, they have a way of frustrating u.
If they cannot pay Naija coach, how will they pay oyibo in dollars?
