WOW!!!

This is Oba Muhammed Qozeem Ilufemiloye the Olowu of Owu Ile in Osun State,  he attended a function where this photo was papped and the two people covered up to their finger tips by his side are his wives.....

You might have seen this photo viral yesterday but i saw it last night and spent a good amount of time starring at it and wondering if these women are happy!

My gosh, the Oba is so handsome and we all can see that but i am sorry I do not understand why these women are covered up and i cannot help wondering if this is how they will be for the rest of their lives.....

Please i need to be made to understand why these women must be covered up like this..Is it that they are too beautiful and no one must see them? Or are they covered up to keep men off them whilst his eyes rove for more wives?

I dont know if this has to do with the Obas tradition or his faith and i do not mean any disrespect on any tribe or religion,I just need explanations.

  8. Toolz and her husband should go for deliverance becoz the amount of witchcraft and demons that followed all these Obas to their wedding will linger on. Too many fetish yoruba things the physical eyes don't see. These are serious occultic men in covens coming as guests to a wedding. Yet people are up and down IG shouting like big names and influential kings attended. Not knowing na demonic gathering.

Stella simple as ABCD it is their religion and it isnt compulsory for a woman to cover her face ,the choice is always the woman not the man ,the woman chooses to cover her face or not .Its only in saudi arabia and some yemeni women that is compulsory as long as you live there to cover face.their religon ,people mistake religion for culture ,Nigerians can over copy .Arabs it is their culture to cover their head even the christians abeg i don tire to type

  38. Mrs Stella, you can't judge from mere seeing someone whether the person is happy or not. These women don't cover up like this all their lives. When they are home with there husbands, they expose their body and when they are out they cover up their body. Most people that cover their faces are extremely beautiful and they do so to prevent men from staring at how beautiful they are. Please learn to respect other people belief and stop the mockery. Tx

    ReplyDelete
  39. Well, the full covering is not part of African culture nor part of Islam..But.of the middle eastern culture due to our harsh weather,(dust storm and sand storm )
Islam say dress modesty(cover your hair and your bossom)
It didn't say dress like a ninja.
Buqa/nicab was mentioned 11times in the Quran it was never mention for women to use but of barricade to separate something ..It's can also mean mask/hood meant for falcon
Some of these women wear the veil to protect their identities and also to brighten their skin

Do not mind my English(Arabic is my first language)

Stella I feel most ppl have explained to u y women wear nikaf well I feel from ur comment u were sounding scarstically , I wont to let u knw that most Muslim women in this country don't wear nikaf they wear veils or other coverings those u see who dress like that want it by choice and their husband can bot force them to dress like that it is their choice and I feel as a woman u shld respect that at least they feel comfortable in what they are wearing and they are modest

We all had our eyes and eyes open incase we hear anything Arabic or see any wire, we would have jumped out of a moving bus. It is well!

  52. Jemima John, where are ur manners? Everyone can't be the same and just cos a woman like you choose to cover every part of their body doesn't make her a "thing". And being a muslim doesn't make one a killer. Be informed

  53. Well, I got a whatsApp buzz to comment on your blog post. I was a bit dissapointed when the page loaded on my browser because I thought it was a serious issue being discussed.

But for the sake of enlightenment, first, I think it's totally hypocritical for anyone in Nigeria -and even almost anywhere- not to be accustomed to this religious mode of dressing by now. It's been before we were born, we've seen them all along, and it will be after we are no more. Simplito, it is their religion! Religion is attached to the heart of human, so don't try to joke with it. Even one of our present Ministers has his wife dressing like this, so what's the ish when it comes to an Oba. Just stick it in, when it comes to religion, it's a heart matter. That's why you can see a President kneeling down to be prayed for by a Pastor. Its cos in his heart is the believe that he is nobody before whom he worships.

Secondly, full covering of the body is a command to Islamic women adherents, so they are dressed that way to obey and please their Lord, and not compelled by any human. It protects them and earn them respects anyway. If you feel they will be feeling hot or uneasy, it's just your idea. Approach them and they will enlighten you better. And oh, they can see just anything anyone can see. They are not blindfolded.

Lastly, when will you get bewildered by the wanton nudity in the society? Isnt that a fall in human maturity and civilization? At the begining, Adam and Eve were naked, then human civilization started and they started using leaves to cover small part that it can cover, civilization continues, different materias including animal skin were used to cover more areas. Civilization later brought about discovery of cotton and the like to make clothes, then humans were able to cover more parts of their body. Don't you think this covering of the whole body is a height in human civilization? If you don't, I do because covering more parts has a link with advancement in civilization when we trace the history of man.
