Stella Oduah Loses Bid To Stop Bulletproof Cars Probe

Hmmm....

A Federal High Court sitting in Lagos has struck out a fundamental rights enforcement suit by a former Minister of Aviation and currently a Senator, Stella
Oduah, against the Attorney General of the Federation, AGF, and three others, challenging plans to question or prosecute her over the purchase of two armoured BMW vehicles at a cost of N255m by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, NCAA, under her watch as the Aviation Minister in 2013.
Trial judge, Justice Okon Abang struck out the suit for lack of jurisdiction.

The court also awarded N15,000 cost against Oduah in favour the AGF.
Other respondents in the suit are Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Independent Corrupt Practices Commission, ICPC and Inspector General of Police.

Oduah in the suit, had prayed the court to restrain agencies of the Federal Government from questioning or prosecuting her over the purchase of two armoured BMW vehicles at a cost of N255m by the NCAA under her watch as the Aviation Minister in 2013.

    3. @ ifeanyiekwensu,You need a head transplant for this nonsense you are talking. Is it Buhari that is the reason that global oil price has fallen, is he the reason that your corrupt govt official decided to loot the proceeds of oil boom? Is it his fault that not a single thing is produced/exported from Nigeria asides oil.
You are very stupid. Illiterate like you. Someone that has stayed barlely 365days in office, if at all anything, the condition would have been worse if he didn't step in. Your sister stella Odual used 225 million to buy 2 vehicles while people like you languish in poverty of brain and common sense. You are complaining about the Naira value yet you hail the perpetrators.
It is only shallow minded illiterates like you that doesn't know the dynamics of economy. Keep complaining, the Naira will keep falling until this country can boast of producing quality things that people can buy from us.
Look at that kit cat tie you are putting on with suit inside hot sun inside that remote village where you took this picture. Find a lonely spot and replace that bow tie with the rope and hang.

  14. Is the judiciary even working in this country?do we even have a law in this country?anyway,if thief can go to court to stop proceedings or investigations then we are all done for in this country, after corruption, the judiciary is our problem in nigeria.

    1. Of course we all have our right
You go and present your case and if it's not good enough, they throw it out

That's why we have a judiciary. If we don't have that Alot of innocent people would be in jail

And then remember even a murderer can get away with a high sentence as long as you have a good lawyer who can argue your case. It's not just done in Nigeria but also outside Nigeria

You see people who clearly committed murder having their charges reduced to manslaughter because they had a good lawyer who could prove otherwise

. Sometimes I wonder if lawyers will make heaven

  16. Thank God. This woman and her cat eyes, so full of herself and portrayed larger than life and I can win the judiciary anytime image. Go and sing like canary bird in court. Shameless woman. Just look at the mess we are in now. The two bulletproof cars alone can pay the salaries of how many workers? Vanity upon vanity.

  17. It is ridiculous that some lawyers (mostly learned seniors) go to court to ask that a person be not tried or investigated. In times like this you expect our so called learned seniors through the LPDC to act accordingly but they will rather spend their time dragging brief with junior counsels.
