Despite my maltesers addiction,I have weighed 55kg for the past 10yrs.its weird actually.I have a beginner's yoga video I exercise with 4x a week for flexibility but that's all.I never walk anywhere except I absolutely have to not to talk of running or jogging.

Dear BVs, please check with a nutritionist before you start burning calories upandan. Na so then preach calories message to me, I go dey burn burn. In the long run, my BMI reduced drastically and I started looking unhealthy. Mind u I'm a size 8. So I went to the doctors and after some checks I realized my metabolism is naturally very high, so I burn calories very well and in fact would need to eat well and not do intense excercise so I don't thin out. I am also a very active person.
ReplyDeleteWhen I checked my BMI it was below ideal. No be person tell me. I went to eat up real quick. It's good to check with a nutritionist before you start so they can tell you what your body loves and hates and how to go about it.most times all you need is just to substitute junk food with healthier options.
But if your fat and over weight, that's another part on its own. I'm talking for those of us who are generally not on the big side.

ReplyDeleteWhen I was a gym rat the instructor told me after my first day that he needs to massage me so my muscles can relax else I will feel pain the next day.
Please, isn't one supposed to stretch out on a yoga mat and pull limbs as widely apart as possible? I was a beginner but I knew something was wrong with that suggestion. I quickly told him there was no need for him to massage me Biko. And I started giving him side eye until I left that gym.
