Obasanjo Warns ''Stop Deceiving Nigerians, Chibok Girls Cannot Return''....

Former Nigeria President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, has asked Leaders to stop giving Nigerians hope of bringing back the Chibok girls alive after about two years of being captured by Boko Haram militants because all hope seems to have been lost finally.

Obasanjo asked Nigerian leaders to stop deceiving the populace for Chibok girls cannot return again.

Fielding questions from the audience Friday Night, at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Staff Club, at a programme tagged, “7th Roundtable with Obj”, the former president blamed the immediate past administration for the fate of the Chibock girls.
He attributed the non discovery of the Chibok girls with non-challant attitude of the previous leader who he said failed to take the right action immediately which constituted impediment to their return.

His words: “72 hours after the Chibok girls were adopted was too late for their rescue, not talk less getting to two years by April.
“So if any leader is promising bringing back the Chibok girls to Nigeria, he is lying” . Obj stressed.

According to him, majority of these girls would by now have died, while those alive would have married or sexually violated.

  2. I as a person don't really understand why people keep talking about this chineke girls. Different other people have been kidnapper by boko haram in the north(both males and females).we hear that in the news everyday but no one has placed emphasis on their return. Only the chibok girls.they even started a movement towards the chibok girls.so I stand to say the chibok girls isn't real. It's just a farce

  4. This old man should just shut up. He wants to be in the news all the time, at all cost.
I think someone is just a hopeless hypocrite. Why didn't he say such things during the GEJ govt.
It is high time he respect his age and stop seeking undue attention all the time.

  12. The man has been saying this for so long, but no one pays him any mind. Short of saying it's all a facade. But let's even assume those girls are still at large,..the first few hours that they were "captured" should/would have been the best time to trail them and possibly rescue a few.
I still imagine the logistics of transporting those number of beings without anyone to accost them. Were they using voodoo to disappear with them?

    Anyway time will tell.

  14. Awon APC Goons, take note. Give us THE TRUTH and Nothing but the Truth. And you have our support. I love Obj's bluntness.

I watched Chief Olu Falae's interview. He keeps hammering that the vision and mission of the APC Party has changed. And a new party is likely in d offing.
***when the Elders talk, you listen***...in my Daddy's baritone voice. It is very important.

  18. The truth is bitter but webhave to say it. Jona never did the right thing to bring them back because the politic was so thick he and his wife felt it's not possible for those girls to be taken.
