Hitting someone at the back of the head? That is a very dangerous area of the body. The guy is lucky to be alive. The location looks like defence academy and I noticed that the cadets were looking around to make sure no one was watching them showing that they knew what they re doing was wrong.

I once went to Mandillas to get something and these group of boys (that are obviously small kids,like my younger brothers age mate) just started with "compliments" hey fine Nyash, my colour, they just kept touching,pulling,tapping and when I ignored them trying to get away quickly one just followed me "no be man dey fuck you? You no dey fuck?, your totoh dey smell etc.
I am a married woman, I was wearing my wedding ring, I don't know any of them from anywhere but they felt they can do that because they were in their territory.
I remember people were laughing, one man said that I should stop and talk to the guy" a man is talking to you and you are walking away".
I had to quickly enter a cosmetic shop and just broke down in tears, I felt violated and if anyone had asked me what happened it would have been dismissed as "just compliment" afterall it is a good thing to have fine nyash and suckable boobs.
When I was done,i didn't get what I wanted to. I am sure the stupid boys continued "paying compliments to women all thru dat day".
Many women face this everyday, I witnessed one girl that was being verbally abused by a group of Okada men.
Their is a thin line between paying a compliment and hurling verbal sexual abuse in the name of compliment. Hardly will a Nigerian man especially low socio economic men pay you an innocent compliment without sexual undertone,,, once you say "thank you" which should be the normal response, they see it as a green light. Instead of continuing what they were doing they will quickly start asking for your name, number, when can we meet etc.
That is why most of us here are guilty of even reply thanks" to the few genuine ones.
People should learn to mind their business, save your compliment to people you know. The economy is agressive, people are agressive , mind your business and simply say good morning. Let us learn to respect ourselves... it is not only when a man brings out penis to forcefully insert inside a non willing vagina that rape has occurred. smacking your lips while paying a sexual compliment to a woman is a form of sexual abuse,,, we are in a hurry to say he just told her you are beautiful... who was there? that was what we insinuated. It is wrong for them to attack him like that but if he was killed by that continuous hiting at the back of the head, that would have been the end of him. Jailing the cadets won't bring him back.

Apart from using it to get on free public transportation, they also obtain what doesn't belong to them. A complete overhaul is highly needed in the force all together.

First of all, we thank God the guy is alive because their choice of punishment was so horrific for me to watch as a medical personnel.
