My Name is Roy, please help me post this pictures, enough is enough Lagos is a big city where everyone is going about their own business and let no one use his or her business to make other people to suffer, I was driving today along Addo Road Ajah Lagos coming from Ajah roundabout but only to discover that there was a serious traffic.
Cause of the traffic
A trailer was carry a big folk lifter abi na caterpillar na them sabi, the trailer occupy the whole road and it's was going very slow so every other cars where behind the trailer and the traffic was like hell even the police officer's who came to talk to them where not able to do anything maybe the business belong to one OGA @ the TOP. attached is the pictures I took because I was very close to the trailer.
Please madam Stella post the pictures to inform Lagos State government since they do not know what they are doing, trailers that want to carry these kind of load should be restricted to mid night hour before they should do so. One man cannot put everyone on Hold. The incident started around12:00noon, I left the traffic one hour later I don't know how long it's will take the cars far behind me.
Thank you.
Where is Ambo?I pray that he truly truly gets stuck in traffic caused by truck soon...
Lagos is a lawless state no be today.
ReplyDeleteDespite the ban placed on trucks from plying roads at night, they still do.
No arrests has been made to that effect.
There's always traffic @ that addo rd, I can imagine how it was with the truck wahala.
Ambo do something!
This is a city where anything goes!

DeleteI don't think you are counting right or maybe you forgot the number you stopped at
Or maybe I didn't see well
Hahahahha
DeleteFab Mum u no well.so u hv bn counting along as well?
Addo road is always blocked. Whether there is a truck there or caterpillar or whatever. They need to do something about that road
ReplyDeleteHelp me tell them o. Na once in 4weeks trailer dey pass there.
DeleteStella on another note, the traffic on this same ado ajah round about is something else. There are some police men who deliberately cause the traffic there. They go about harrasing private cars. They will stop you and ask you to unlock your phone for them to check. Search your car like you are a thief. They are just there on both sides of the road every day that's what they do causing traffic to rip people off. When they can't find anything they ask you for money. It is really a big issue.
ReplyDeleteThats the trend there oh...
ReplyDeletePoster saying the simple truth.
wonder why they should allow such to move during the day time when the road is busy.
Some even have police escorts with them....
They should help tell Lagos state those massive round abouts they put there is the major cause of traffic in that area. From vgc only to turn you will spend not less than an hour. They should break down those things and put traffic lights.
ReplyDeleteAmennnnnn to dt prayer.
ReplyDeleteHow many moto u dey drive,u dey trailer back na only u still dey marwa back, only u kwa dey fae back.na was
ReplyDeleteLmao
DeleteSay something nice na
The moto get three eyes.
I live on that same road and this has happened to me before! It was even on a Sunday. We spent one hour trailing behind the stupid trailer and we were seriously late to church! It was so painful. Meanwhile movement on that stretch of road shouldn't take more than 3 minutes. Ambode is really really acting like a first class slow coach in this regard. Ajah residents are suffering, state government has failed us and our local government? Do we even have one, *insert sarcastic laughter here*.
ReplyDeleteThey're about to put flyover across ajah roundabout, it will start from Agungi to Abraham Adesanya. Then all this ajah traffic will be a thing of the past. But while the work is going on, we'll hear whiii.
DeleteI ve only been to lagos once and. Mennn that place was lyk hell to men I prefer abj several times to lag. Na so pplle go dey waka lyk say them dey pursue them,
ReplyDeleteNo come back o
DeleteMe i no get light where i dey stay for Isheri,me i don tire for lagos o
ReplyDeleteIsheri don comot 4 Lagos state abeg.
DeleteThat Ado road is a mess. Till midnight there is always traffic. Lasma is not helping issues. All they are interested in, is collecting money from bus drivers and allow them Park in the middle of the road to pick up passengers. You leave your house to get to roundabout you spend like two hours. Is this not punishment
ReplyDeleteThe Low Bed is carrying a swamp buggy-not forklift. It is actually forklift not forklifter.
ReplyDeleteForklift, forklifted, fuck u asshole!
DeletePoster but all we know about ado road is traffic na? Once you pass vgc on your way to Ajah that's the end to smooth ride.
ReplyDeleteNo be only trailer be that ado road problem.
Lip service of all them liars.....
ReplyDeleteLeft Lagos and I ain't going back! Fresh air is too important.
ReplyDelete@ Queen of Queens I agree, been to lag once worst four days of my life, kept asking my cousin of why people were walking so fast and why it was crowded. Noticed most people that live in lag dont like Abuja and think of it as slow, vice versa with Abj peeps
ReplyDeleteNo light, no water again I'm Lagos. Ambode I hail oh.
ReplyDeleteEnd time traffic
ReplyDeleteKai poster u for write for Yoruba na. This ur English enh damn!!!
ReplyDeleteWhere is the mobile law enforcement. They need to do something about this
ReplyDeletei dislike Lagos even for a visit, they just do tins anyhow in Lagos.
ReplyDeletePls Ambo direct the commissioner of police in lagos state and lasman boss to send better and capable officers who can clear the traffic been cause by thief thief ole police and lasman officials because of their love for money and ignore people to suffer!!!
ReplyDelete@ Queen of Queens I agree, been to lag once worst four days of my life, kept asking my cousin of why people were walking so fast and why it was crowded. Noticed most people that live in lag dont like Abuja and think of it as slow, vice versa with Abj peeps
ReplyDeleteThose same police officers, that's how they move abt harassing people.Especially at that bad spot in badore, cooperative villas junction.keke wen I enter almost get accident bcos of them..As for the traffic along addo rd,its a normal thing from 2/3pm nau till whenever.Ambode take note
ReplyDeleteDuring election they where sing Ambo ooooooooooh Ambo!!!! pls where is the Ambo when the citizen are suffering. abi Ambo no be for mouth, Ambo do something
ReplyDeleteIn summary, quite a few BVs live around me! Aside my Northie, even recently controversial La Fresh!
ReplyDeleteAjah SDK party anyone...? We can use Bim's Garden or Upstream!
All of you shouting ..If you get delayed at night . You will say the trailers are risking your life and you might get robbed .
ReplyDeleteIf you don't get robbed and someone speeds into the obstruction . Another story will come up.
You complain about roads and these are used for road construction . Or do you want the leveler to run on the asphalt ? It will spoil the road hence it's carried or towed .
Meanwhile the weight of that thing ..no be here oo hence the traffic endure . If you are shouting ...what do you want the peeps in Ikorodu to do? They spend hours in traffic just because of road rehabilitation in mile 12 . Guys these inconveniences musT happen .
Meanwhile if you see gbagaun no be my fault . Na Samsung and I no get time to edit .
Bye
And who told you there is any road construction work going on there? People are complaining about uneccessary traffic, I too know you bring story for ikorodu.
