Lady Gaga is set to perform a tribute to the late David Bowie at this year's Grammy Awards.
At the star-studded ceremony, the Poker Face hitmaker will stage a touching homage to the singer, who passed away after a secret battle with cancer last month.
The 29-year-old stunner has long-voiced her admiration for the Let's Dance hitmaker, so is a natural choice to host the 'experimental tribute' at the ceremony next month.
Executive producer of the Grammys, Ken Ehrlich confirmed news of the segment of the show to JustJared.
Gaga recently spoke to Hollywood Reporter about David's influence on her, saying: 'When I fell in love with David Bowie, when I was living on the Lower East Side, I always felt that his glamour was something he was using to express a message to people that was very healing for their souls.'
'He is a true, true artist and I don't know if I ever went, "Oh, I'm going to be that way like this," or if I arrived upon it slowly, realizing it was my calling and that's what drew me to him.'
David died from liver cancer on January 10 aged 69 .
The 58th Grammy Awards is set to take place at Los Angeles' Staples Centre on February 15, with LL Cool J hosting the show for the fifth year in a row.
