    1. Hi @sweetheart that's how that 'costume' is worn. The bottom wrapper is called (according to a bellanaijarian) 'popo', forgotten the name of the top wrapper. But that bottom wrapper can also be tied with a top wrapper called 'krukubite'. These are all the types of traditional wrapper tied by women in Rivers State.
That's the much I know. Irene B come and explain more oh.

    2. The down is not krukubite. It's feni'. It's not confusion neither is it fashion or custume. Try an attend a riverine traditional marriage.esp kalabari. She no even wear anything sef.

    3. It's d top wrapper that's called popo dear, not d bottom @nnechi spicy

    4. That is how a Rivers woman married to a man from the riverine area of the state dresses on her traditional wedding..
The top wrapper is called "Feni"... And the bottom wrapper is called "popo"... That's the standard.. I love my rivers culture!

    5. In a traditional rivers marriage /wedding, a bride dresses in an attire that she feels comfortable in, it's preferably a George wrapper with matching lace blouse, feni, kuru kuru bite, etc. This bride here wore feni with popo or better still, called ashanti, a matching blouse with coral bides. I believe she wanted it simple considering her previous marriage failure so she didn't want to dress so lavishly. I think I ve done an explanation that is understandable and clear. ikwerre meka oo

  24. I have not aired my view on this monalisa's wedding.monalisa can do better.the hair and the two different colors wrappers just made her look like one village mgbiee. Yes I said so. Don't call me bitter.
Her husband looks like an accomplished igbo smoker. Very ugly somebody. Husband don finish for market? Tufiakwa. Fine ladies end up with ugly men.everything there looked razz. Monalisa taste for fashion is even outrageous. Nyama.

    2. You are just a big fool that can't create an any but calling a man God created ugly, the man is not a young man and he is way finer than d idiotic boys in your family including your father. Go to hell

      Delete
    3. The two different types of wrapper is a traditional type of wrapper tied by Rivers women. Expand your thinking, if you're not sure, ask. It doesn't make you stupid.

    5. I AGREE.EVEN WITHOUT THE TOP WRAPPER,THE BLOUSE AND BOTTOM WRAPPER ARE COLOUR RIOT.ALSO,THE CAP WOULD HAVELOOKED SO ELEGANT IF SHE HAD PACKED HER HAIR BACK LIKE PAUL OKOYE'S WIFE IN HER TIME BUT BECAUSE SHE WANTED TO FIX CROCHET BRAIDS BY FIRE BY FORCE SHE ENDED UP LOOKING A HOT MESS.

  27. Ibinabo is very pretty. Monalisa should try and reduce all these mops she puts on her hair. Makes her look like the man's mama at times. Ebube tried so hard to look good, which she did but she come de somehow. That her skirt material no be am. I guess Ibinabo forgot her rings on the bedside drawer in her rush to be the centre of attention other than the bride.

  28. @just amazing, you should change that your name to "just bitter". What kind of a person are you? Tufikwa!kilode!. You should not take out your frustration on others. Wetin? Na Mona make you pooooooooooor. It is only poor and frustrated people like you, that can make such comment about other people's happiness. Change your attitude, otherwise I advice you go and commit suicide because people like you are not suppose to be alive.
