While addressing a press briefing recently, the finance minister made a little goof whilst doing simple arithmetic and said that the addition of N16 billion and N6 billion would amount to N24billion. ...May be she was tensed up or excited revealing the 'wuru-wuru'
Her speech was made during an address as she exposed some anomalies in the examination body where a declaration of N3 million is being made out of N16 billion generated.
I love the way she talks....Well spoken, articulate and beautiful and I am sure she will do what she was appointed to do...Make una forget Mathematics and leave accountant general of the Federation to give correct figures..lol

It is very disgraceful. She doesn't know common arithmetic. She should take the path of honour by resigning.
ReplyDeleteThis is what you will always get in a country. where where you give people appointments based on ethnicity and political inclination. Instead of competence and efficiency.

Please if all these are being generated and channelled wisely,I am sure Nigerians will get charged lesser for monies in their accounts, for electricity and basic amenities.
Btw,that goof can be done by anyone especially during public speaking but a finance minister cannot be pardoned easily for such especially in Nigeria where you have people waiting patiently for your "downfall"..hehehehe. If she can be pardoned,Accountant general of the federation could be pardoned as well... finance ooh, accountancy ooh, economics ooh..all na show working. Lolz
Correct woman!
