ReplyDeleteCocoz please explain. Anyway I don't put my money in the bank. How much do I even have. Having account in all the bank does not make one rich Because I have account with all the banks in Nigeria and when you add all the money together, it's not up to 5K. Charges no cosine me.
ReplyDeleteI actually read over the weekend that GTBank post on the man that lost 150k and I was wondering why banks don't advertise reliable services to the masses. Why?
ReplyDeletePeople I know that the economy is biting hard but I believe we can spare some N2,500 or thereabout to secure our accounts within the bank.
Download the GT bank mobile app on your mobile device and register in.
Walk into a good GT bank and obtain a TOKEN.
It cost about N2,000. It's that fish - like device that bankers wear on the neck, like a flash drive.
Fill the two forms they give you and snap them.
Each transfer you make is tied to this TOKEN after you entered the secret question you filled in the aforementioned forms. Keep it s secret, if married give your hubby and if possible your son the answer to the secret question. For future purposes. As we say in local parlance, in case of incasity.
You make transfers running into millions with the TOKEN instead of having to effect transfers within daily N200,000 limit or whichever.
Your reference code comes immediately after each transfer.
With the token, the number that props up when you press is what you enter, if stolen, you call customer service immediately and they block it.
No kobo leaves your account when you have a TOKEN and it's services are swift.
Like DSTV, if you watching and forgot to pay up, once it cuts, log into DSTV Nigeria webpage, click on pay, select bouquet, click Card type n effect pay once you enter TOKEN digits. Type RESET DSTVnoxxxxxxxx. In 5 mins, your view time is up again. You go pay no where or queue anywhere.
Stella Kork...you are supposed to have a special account officer hovering over your account na. Haba mana. Please call the customer lines on any bank website, they will answer you. The only authorised charge is the monthly SMS charges and transfer commissions shikena.
No one touches my kudi o and I got my bestie hovering over all our accounts. Mi ole pariwo.
Good akuko
DeleteVery good mallam!!!!
DeleteMungode!!!!!!!
That's for people who have money.. I believe one day I shall get there.
ReplyDeleteThe only part that got me 'of married give my husband'. Akuko na egwu.

Bank Customers are reminded to always forward there complaints to:
Director, Consumer Protection Department; email: cpd@cbn.gov.ng
Are you my colleague?
DeleteWell truat Gtb to keep deducting ti they get tired. They actually deducted more than necessary as soon as they heard Emefiele announce the new rule. But in all honesty, they refunded back the excess.
ReplyDeleteOnce I use ATM am debited 65 naira no mater the ATM machine I use
ReplyDelete*trust
ReplyDeleteCBN's policy is being misunderstood by most people.
ReplyDeletekindly note that ONLY receiving accounts are debited for stamp duties. receiving SAVINGS account is also included o, don't be deceived.
self to self and salary payment are exempted.
but there's a trick:
if the person trust you enough, collect e BVN write am on top the deposit slip and pay in *shines teeth* case solved and the recipient won't be debited for the stamp duty statutory charges .
Only UBA is charging stamp duty on deposits to savings accounts. the CBN circular concerning stamp duty exempts savings accounts. Imagine if they collect #50 from 1000customers everyday, that's 50,000 daily and 350,000 weekly. Note that there are very likely more than 1000 deposits daily.
DeleteNeed to report stupid Gtb... Dey wil b removing card maintenance money.. Like im nt the one maintaining my card
