Gates! Psalm 24:7 -9
Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.
Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle.
Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.
Gates are known to give access or restrictions to a place. Gates can also come in form of barriers or embargo. when a super nations places an embargo on another nation, then the Gates of goodies are shut to that nation.
Gates can take you from zero to hero in seconds. They can move you from lack to abundance. In 2 Kings 6:24-29, the Syrians besieged Samaria and there was famine in the land. The famine got to the point of buying Dove's droppings for food and parents eating their children. However, at the word of the Prophet Elisha, An army as great as Syria's was defeated by 3 lepers! The closed gates were opened and Israel marched into abundance in 24hours!!!
My desire for you today is that doors and gates of breakthroughs, divine success, good health and sound mind be opened unto you and your household today in the name of Jesus.
Just like David, I desire that you will understand that you may not be who you are designed to be if some doors and gates don't open unto you. Therefore, according to Paul in 1 Corinthians 16:9 "For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries".there is a need for you to prayerfully trust God for your own open doors and gates with hard work and diligence....
May you not operate within shut gates and close doors this year in the name of Jesus.
Prayers...
1. Lord I thank you once again because I know that every good doors and gates in my life shall continually be opened, and the evil ones shut for life in the name of Jesus
2. Lord, let every doors and gates, standing between me and my glory; every doors and gates that is not allowing God free and unrestricted access in my life be destroyed in the name of Jesus.
3. Lift up your head O ye gates, and let the king of glory come into my life, and situations in the name of Jesus

ReplyDeleteFor the lady that asked if a nursing mom or pregnant mom can fast.
ReplyDeleteWell,i don't think people should fast because others are doing it.
There is a hunger to fast, a need to fast and a quest to know God more.
My advice?
You could fast from 6-12 if you are breastfeeding... or sip water while at it. If your child is a big "sucker" or you have twins,please don't risk it.
When I am preggie,I just cannot fast,like I can't even think it. It does not make me a sinner,it just means I know my body and what can be dangerous for me.
Let us understand the bible and apply accordingly maka adiama ama.

And fasting is not just denying your self of food,Fasting is denying your self those things that you normally do that are sin,you can decide to fast from it thereby making a great efforts to stop them.
DeleteAnother eg of fasting is denying your self some pleasure/fun like giving out money that you would have used for shopping for designers cloths/shoes
