I recently watched a similar documentary, where the parents of the girl married her off to the man obviously for money - THE BRIDE PRICE and all the things that come with it. The man promised to send this young INTELLIGENT girl to school, but when they got to Lagos, everything changed. He had a wife, with a daughter the same age as the young bride. The Girl's education was totally irrelevant to them, her Life and Health nko, what of the psychological trauma. Lord Have mercy!!!
