This is the same reason i have stopped using this platform to support anyone who cries Rape....I wasnt there and Cases like this have given strength to my resolve.

Seriously though,Stella,I don't think you should stop using your platform to help rape victims.It's just like saying because some people take advantage of your benevolence,you'll stop using your blog to help the poor.Rape is a very serious issue and o's happening everyday in our society,and you can't honestly tell me you feel right in your conscience to not help these young women who are true victims of rape just because of some rare cases like these where the accused was innocent.Such cases are rare and might happen in like 3 out of every 10 rape cases.I felt really bad for the guy when I read the story for the first time,but that doesn't mean many girls are not really victims of rape,and it's cuz of this mindset of yours that's making them not speak out cuz they feel no one would believe them.

I only make exception if the "victim" is a minor and the rapist was either caught in the act or tell tale signs on the victim. If it's an adult victim,I'll sit on the fence until evidence is produced.

The guy showed it to his friends and I think it leaked or he threatened to leak it if she doesn't do his bidding, she screamed rape and this guy was arrested. If she hadn't come out to say the truth,the guy would have gone to jail... Yes the guy needed hard knocks but using rape as a tool of revenge? Nooo!
I remember that story. The 19 year old girl. What freaked me was when the boy pleaded.. that he was doomed and the only person that could rescue him was the said girl.. pleading that if only she would tell the truth that he never raped her.
DeleteI could almost feel the fear in his voice and tears in his eyes as he pleaded. He said "ah I am finished". But God saved his ass that the girl came to her senses on time, not after he would have been sentenced. A big lesson to all.

I told my brother the same thing when he came aboad and was excited about doing a white pussy. I told him they were dangerous. If he wants, I will take him to a red district and pay good cash to ynash a white pussy. But to have any relationship with them is like spelling his doom!

And he was set free after spending more than a decade in prison! No degree, he had to start all over again because of a stupid white pussy.
When my aunt told me this story on my arrival to study abroad several years ago, I respect myself and befriended only African black women, because we understand ourselves better.
God will rescue those who are still serving term for crimes they did not commit.

Her bf woke up so to pacify the bf she claimed rape. Police came and toaster did 8 years. She did this severally to different guys. Not sure why the police always believed her.
ReplyDeleteStella, the fact remains that most women who say they were raped, we're in fact raped. Most as in, majority, the larger number over 50% (in fact close to 100%). And furthermore most women who have been raped do not report it.
