      Apparently, the next rated was given to reekado banks. Olamide was not happy abt this snd aired his opinion saying Lil kesh had back to back hits. Only for don jazzy to come out and say olamide should come and collect the car if he needs it (next rated award comes with a car).meanwhile, olamide dint mention don jazzys name, he was only airing his opinion to the headies organisers.     Reekado is the cause of the issue! Reek was giving a speech and he said people can rant, then olamide got angry then adekunle was called to get his award and he was dedicating his award to ybnl and Lil kesh and olamide took the mic and started ranting, using abusive language then Don jazzy came and told him to come and get the car and he went to twitter to rant.

    After reekado banks who is signed to mavin Records won the "Next rated at the Headies" ;olamide wasnt happy about it cos he believed the award was meant for Lil kesh who is an artist under his record label YBNL..

    So when Adekunle Gold who is also an act under YBNL won an award for the "Best alternative act" for his song "Shade";the whole YBNL crew came up stage and Adekunle gave his thanks to olamide while Lil kesh protrested before olamide..then olamide took the mic and said

    "Street ti take over.Every fucking single was a hit from lyrically to Shoki (Ko ni dafun ye anybody(It wont be well with anybody's mother).olamide then slammed the mic and they whole YBNL crew stormed out of the stage..

    Then when Don jazzy won his Lifetime award and came up stage,he ended what he was saying with "Egbon olamide, if it is car you want, come and collect it " then Don jazzy stormed off the stage with the Mavin crew..

      Shocking that he went home and continued,he was obviously intoxicated.

      She looked gorgeous tho.

      That show was not properly organised even with the shift in date. The time it took each act to come on stage was embarrassing .Even to hand over the cards that had the winner's names was an issue.

    Stella I witnessed the whole brouhaha.Olamide never mentioned names,he only said his boy Lil Kesh deserved that next rated award. He got angry,dropped d mic and threw his cap to the crowd.     Reekado banks got the award for next rated(Korede Bello sef didn't look too happy),I sha knew wahala was going to happen when Reekado kept hugging Lil Kesh.....When it was time for Reekado to give his speech,he said "I know some people are vexing,you can rant...its allowed.....Later, Adekunle Gold came on stage for his award,all the YBNL crew followed him and when he was giving his speech,thanking everyone....Lil Kesh prostrated to Olamide,then badoo took the mic and dropped his bomb "Lil Kesh is our own Next Rated,all his songs are hits and the street has taken over,baba iya yan" and a few more rants,he then dropped the mic*gbaun*....Next up was Don Jazzy for special recognition award,when he got his award,he gave his speech that he doesn't like awards but they always end up dragging him there,that he came to support his children and he told them not to look at the cars,that he will buy them cars and the bomb is "Egbon Olamide,if you want the car,come and collect it"

I witnessed the whole thing,so when Adekunle was up there to collect his award,Olamide took the mic and said his boy lil kesh is the winner of the next rated artist(which comes with a Hyundai car) he threw d mic on the floor and walked out with his crew.Don Jazzy came on stage to receive his award and said if it's about the car,Olamide should come and take it.that was how the show became rowdy,a lot of people stood up ,I left the place cos it was becoming dry. Stella I forgot to tell u that Harry song killed it mehn,he is my new bae and that girl Niyola has a banging body . 2face's wife can never learn Annie was looking trashy and thumbs up to Bovi ,the dude is good .

    In awards there are bound to be controversies as winners are selected mostly through votes.
    The other year I was surprised that SEAN TIZZLE won instead of BURNA BOY.
    But it's all about politics, hadies organizers are out to make money so would give award to whosoever is going to pay, I was actually expecting KOREDE BELLO or LIL KESH or at worse KISS DANIEL but men proposes.
