@MARTINS ABOY
Well you all wanted change, now you have it.this is d worst government ever!!!
DeleteGej appointed him not Buhari. it's about time this Efcc invite this CBN gov.
DeleteI think we all should hustle and get rich cos the system is 4 d rich.
DeleteImagine y encourage us to go cashless and then now u are chargin me N50 to save my money, people will start savin their money at home.
See d scope, they will remove COT this yr and then we all pay N50. Now the rich wont worry about being charged 2% cot but will only pay N50 even if its N100m but the poor that do not pay COT cos na saving acct them dey use will pay the same N50 on a savings of N1000 that the rich will pay on a single N100m transaction.
Also being rich helps u stave off the stress of the likes akinbode tracking ur babe. *side eyes
Stella, see the fish brains on your blog. Nobody read through to see that savings accounts are exempt. And payments from self to self. Everyone just started yakking. Shame just dey catch me for una. Chai!
DeleteDon't mind the half baked bitches and empty brains here.....do they read? Local twats, but rush to comment on every post like they give awards.....read and comprehend before vomiting trash...
DeleteNa wa o, he much do we have in the account sef. They didn't even say 10k and above
ReplyDeleteI tried doing the math of charging 50 from every Nigerian and my brain stopped because almost ALL citizens do transactions beyond 1000.
DeleteLmao...Change!!!!
Dear most likely cute n sexy but definitely baby banker Cocoz! You cannot arrive at a decent median using EVERY NIGERIAN! being a baby banker doesn't excuse you from knowing the banked population in your country, CBN get website! So go & check the current banked population, then use the average number of active accounts to do your calculation, then come back!
DeleteIf you weren't in Abuja I woulda offered lunch as motivation! & to confirm your cuteness face to face! Hope say this insane ongoing tsunami won't come near u babe. Cheers.
This is not fair.... is dis d change APC promised us
ReplyDeleteWhat is wrong with this CBN governor? Task master. Yet the naira is going down more. I still maintain that Sanusi was the best. He knew what he was doing, brought security and sanity into the system and did not allow the common man to be fleeced paying all soughts of fees for everything.
ReplyDeleteEnd time order
ReplyDeleteAbeg mk I go buy piggy bank (asusu)
ReplyDeleteOk oh, nigerians this is your change.
ReplyDeletehmmm.. CBN tho
ReplyDeleteGlorious Child Says:- Na wa oh, now I see the change they've been talking about. So it has been their plan to collect our 50 naira change. No wonder they say APC is all about change.
ReplyDeleteBiko from today any body owing me that wants to pay it into my account should add 50naira extra cos I no fit shout.
Jehovah. I will only do pay on delivery then. LMAO
ReplyDeleteHian!!
ReplyDeleteHmmmmm....issorit ...so if I owe u 1000 and I pay your money expect to see 950 oo before you go say I no pay complete..Lol ATM charges no do una abi
ReplyDeleteFor what? you pay for withdrawing and when your account is credited? hmmmm.
ReplyDelete*no condition is permanent*
Oh really? Nipost stamp duties account... Which will end up disappearing into the accounts of the higher thieves. I was indifferent about this administration coming into power but clearly things have become worse. Dipping their hands into many things au the same time. Solve one problem at a time!
ReplyDeleteBoost revenue my foot.
So if someone pays in 1000 into my acct,i have 950,while CBN takes 50 w/o negotiation? this is not a good one.our naija banks go use this medium finish us,like gtb dt can use 5kobo,1naira and10naira to clear ur account.
ReplyDeleteOK na.
ReplyDeleteI don't like this new CBN governor. He brought back the atm charges now we have this new charge. What's wrong with the man? They should bring Soludo back. He really did well as a CBN governor. He also wanted us to remove the zeros in the Naira like Ghana did but everyone moved against him cos the billionaires wanted to remain billionaires and all. If they allowed him do that then, we won't be having this Naira dollar exchange rate issue now cos even if the exchange rate rises it won't be by much. The Ghana Cedi was just like the Cefa till they removed the zeros. Sanusi was good too
ReplyDeleteTrinity, a different CBN governor will not change anything I tell ya.
DeleteChange oooo
ReplyDeleteSo after paying 3500 monthly as cot to diamond bank I'll still be charged 50 Naira on every transaction I make??
DeleteAnd please when will diamond bank stop their cot for dbmx account abi what is is called because I am tired of that cot charge.. Now this. That means they will be making almost a 1000 naira from me everyday or more
This is day light robbery
This is not, we are being charged unnecessarily, now they also force people to use atm, this is so bad
ReplyDeleteWTF!!!
ReplyDeleteLol. The Federal government of Nigeria has decided to generate revenue by collecting money from the masses...
ReplyDeleteNot only by taxing their income but also by charging them for receiving payments and transfers into their personal bank accounts... Whether the payment is for a service rendered or it is pocket money sent in by a parent for school upkeep.
So in the long run, the masses have to pay for having had clueless leaders in the past who didn't think about diversifying the economy but instead robbed the country blind.
This CBN administration under Emefiele has got to be the worst ever. SMH
I would have had a few choice words for this man but...
Today na Day 10. I'm a work in progress.
I think this Emefiele of a foolish man needs stella's e-slap for his brain to reset.
ReplyDeleteNo paddy for jungle again
Hahahahahahaha...
ReplyDeleteNo body should complain!...you all should deal with it...
Lwkmd!!...
I knew I'd find u here,laughing.
DeleteLinda, me I'm just here laughing at their complaints. Make we dey suffer dey go. Change is good.
DeleteHmm but GEJ made him CBN governor
DeleteHahahahaha na soo my dear queen. They never see chinchin. Buhari is giving them the change they all want. I pity the poor people in our society cos they are the only ones who will suffer the effect of the change they voted for. Kwakwakwa.
DeleteGoes back to sleep....
Gej made him governor, so what??? I'd gej still running show?
Delete*is
DeleteHmmmm,so d poor won't be able to transact in a bank anymore? Shld thns get ds worse in Nigeria? Sue
ReplyDeleteWhich kain nonsense come be dis na? Mscheew.
ReplyDeleteOriegwu
ReplyDeleteNo cash for such
Hia,what is all these naaa, will this encourage or discourage the cashless policy?
ReplyDeleteThese people are just out there to inconvenience the masses. I wonder what NLC will say/do about this, that's even if they still exists.
ReplyDeleteHummm this is too much oh, why can they put it in #20 Naira?
ReplyDeleteSo basically to receive cash of 1K or more,u pay 50 bucks?
ReplyDeleteIssorai.
But oh well,i am all for boosting our revenue base.
Useless woman!
DeleteInstead of U to talk when U are suppose to...
Anonymous 9:44, you're obviously narrow minded, sawdust for brains. Why did you attack her? Because you lack the mental capacity to find fault with her statement. Most BVs be crying & wailing, oil revenue is dwindling faster that Linda eze's pussy mileage, what do other countries do?? Some of you have even lived abroad, what obtains there in this scenario? Come on! It's tough on us, yes, its possibly even too soon, but its a logical reaction to where we are! The western world you all adore, they live off mainly taxes & levies!
DeletePlease, most of you won't kuku even understand all I just said, when d post is not about dick & pussy & cheating.
Don't mind her, very pretentious human being like that.
DeletePls ignore d asslicker abeg, even wen her fellow kedi je group are seeing d truth and saying it, she will still come and be forming holier than thou. If u like go anon to cuss me, na u know.
Delete@ d anno talking abt abroad hmmmm u'r respond is nothing, talking abt abroad pays taxess n levis is there Govt not working?
DeletePrimary school n health care is free there
C'mon receive brain, 80 yrs an d above still work n struggle here in Nigeria, children hawk to feed
Is that so abroad?
Anonymous,lol
DeleteYou made very good points.
But you see, things are very tough for the masses. people are suffering.
This means that the woman selling Akra on the street cannot send money to her son in school without losing 50 naira or more depending on the amount... how much is her profit. Trust me,the number of the banked right now is way off the roof.
I know the present government is trying to boast our economy like TGW pointed out..but menn, this is getting unbearable.
We cannot beat a baby and tell him or her not to cry naw abi?
People pay for COT(soon to be abolished completely),most banks have even introduced additional charges to re coup...and they wake up to this? You fix your hard earned money and get 1.5percent for it. Imagine fixing 10m and getting peanuts. Let people rant,it cures HBP.
This was exactly what I stated last year,i knew a day like this was coming... Save like never before.
Naija go better.
Nwa baby m,Naija go better my dear.
Delete@ Anonymous lol,hahahahhaha
Just writing ur name cracks me up.Pls tell me who u are.
Teddy? I wanna know so I can stop missing him. Goodnight Anonymouslol hahhahaha.
And Kisses to u and Nwa baby m.xoxo
Milking the masses in every way possible. Yet they can't cut their allowance.
ReplyDeleteSay what?
ReplyDeleteMake I do the maths: N50 per N1000 transaction!!!!!!! My money go finish na! All of una no well. Na me steal Nigeria money? You thieves stole our money now, you want me to pay for your theft? I am going to close all my accounts and keep my money in my house. Nonsense!!
ReplyDeleteAre you sure it's 50 naira per 1000
DeleteOr 50 naira for any amount from 1000. So whether 10k,charge will still be 50 naira. That's what I'm trying to figure out
Also is it for those who do transfers thru Internet so I know if it tell my client to stop that and visit banks directly and pay in cash..
I'm tired of this country
Everyday with new gist esp from this man and his advisers still d economy is getting worst. I wish they realise that not all fingers are equal. 50 naira kwa.
ReplyDeleteThey are very stupid o
ReplyDeleteGood move
ReplyDeleteEnd time revenue collection by proxy
Make I go pack all my money come hide for ground, anybody wey wan send money to my account ehn,dnt boda goin to d bank,i dey come collect am.
ReplyDelete*son's school fees*
Deletethese people are not serious o. imagine, a whole N50. maybe we will start depositing in our houses now.
ReplyDeleteThis administration is antihuman. What have Nigerians gotten themselves into.......?? Where are those APC zombies and e-rodents? This is 2016, you guys should expect the worst.
ReplyDeleteMay the forces PUNISH APC
DeleteAm in total support of this. Let the diversification begin.
ReplyDeleteI think norway for eg spends only 10% of its oil revenue and saves the rest 90% for the future generation.
The prb with 9ja is that u save and the next govt comes and spends it all. In katsina, yar adua left abt 9bn when he became president and shema left nothing though no debt.
Hian na wa ooo... They want to collect mony from the masess to upgrade the economy. So small change that is been sent to me will be charged. Fix this Lord...
ReplyDeleteWhen we re expecting them to finally remove COT this year, now see another bombshell. They want to rip off masses again. Another clueless Govt seem to have replaced the former clueless set.
ReplyDeleteEnd time government
ReplyDelete99th comment 2016
What's the meaning of this?
ReplyDeleteThank God savings account are exempted cos I no fit shout o
ReplyDeleteFirst of, I need the government to answer this question; what happened to remaining money from Abacha's loot.
ReplyDeleteNow to the real ish, why do a government need #50 from the accounts of her citizens to boost revenue?, when the same government 1)can scrap a lot of her expenditures to boost the same revenue.2) cut down the allowances of her of legislators.3) use the abacha loot to boost agriculture sector and start exporting agricultural produce.4) boost other mineral resources for high expot to boost
How long do they intend for this osusu to last.
Biko, ask no more, they won't answer u.
DeleteSavings accounts are exempted. I went to a shop to buy something, I was charged 5% Vat and I also paid #50 for nipost stamp duty and this happened in 2014. Is not a bad idea since the oil is nolonger yielding the expected result and we are all shouting diversification.. paying your receipt duty and value added tax is another way of generating revenue for the government. But my question is this: is Nigeria ready for this change. Because when I pay for my Tax, I expect the government to give me constant light, provide the basic amenities, create jobs and so on like the western world.
ReplyDeleteShit, Amaka your comment gave me a massive erection! I will never belittle u again! I'll give u head whenever u want, hope ur clean down there sha!
DeleteLmfaaaaaaooooooo!!!yeepa!God!
DeleteNa to go dig ground sure pass. First they collect 65naira, then their useless sms charges wey I no send dem, then atm service charge or whatever, now this.
ReplyDeleteGovt against the masses.

ReplyDeletena wa ooo..so na so una go dey steal my N50?inukwa nsogbu oo..
ReplyDeletena wen i no c wetin una use d N50 collected from poor NIGERIANS which consists of more than a million bank users...ndi oshi na ama.mtcheeeeew!!!
This is a regressive taxation. I was told this CBN governor is brilliant but I have beginning to suspect him. He should be removed before doing further damage to the economy. If I deposit N1000 and another person deposit N1,000,000 we will both pay N50; is there any sense in this. The ceiling should be raised maybe 200000 or 400000 alternatively everybody should pay .5% or 1%.
ReplyDeleteHmmmmm..... na wa o.... so if I'm transacting with #100k, I will have to pay #5k for revenue generation? Mogbe. Which way Nigeria.? Haa..... may God almighty deliver us from all these clueless thieves we call leaders o. Chai......Nigeria.......
ReplyDeleteThis is toooooooo much oo..ha so for every 20k 500 don go ne that? This is wrong m not in support..haba..if its 50 naira per 10k then may be we will understand Bt this 1?? Hmmm
ReplyDeleteJust negodu. 50naira, Abeg make I go dig ground for my backyard. I no fit shout.
ReplyDeleteSo na we the masses go suffer for all the theifing wen dem do?
This Emefiele is a bastard! What is this man up to? He has suddenly forgotten how he crippled the economy as he used to meet with top men at night to share dollars. Stupid man.
ReplyDeleteHmmmm... Nigerian government ripping the masses since 95 BC.... Mtchew.. Ha'in....
ReplyDeleteWhen i said you people should support biafra u will start complaining, una never see anything from naija.... Keep dying in silent.. They will clip all una hair.. Too early to cry..
ReplyDeleteit's 50 naira per transaction which is not bad...te govt need to generate funds thru other means, just hope they'll use the money well.
ReplyDeleteThe most clueless CBN governor ever
ReplyDeleteSomebody should please interpret this for me abeg......For all avoidance of doubt the following receipts are however exempted from imposition of stamp duties payments of deposits or transfer by self to self whether inter or intra bank and any form of withdrawals/transfers from saving accounts. It should be noted that these charges are only payable by receiving accounts. Does that mean if money is to be credited into my account, I can tell whoever want to do that to write my name on the deposit slip to avoid paying for the stamp duty.
ReplyDeleteNo cussing BV's
No Tunde, when you move money from your account in a bank to your account either in the same bank or another bank you don't pay. Also, savings accounts are exempt from paying as well. The write up omitted a 'coma' or colon so d sentence lost meaning
DeleteThanks alot anonymous.
