What Would You Do With A Lost Wallet?

Thank God ''Manna fell down from heaven'' or look for a way to Return it?I mean a lost wallet stashed with Cash and credit cards that you dont need a pin to use.

''Hi Stella love, please i want to share this with bvs. I saw this video on youtube and I'm so touched to know good people(black) still exist. I hope someone will learn to be kind and God fearing watching this.

A white guy intends to prank people and see what they would do if they found a lost wallet containing dollars and credit cards.

So this white guy drops his wallet containing dollars, credit card and his ID card. An handsome black guy saw this wallet and picked it up. He walks to the side of the road, opens this wallet and brought out his phone, he put his phone in the ear and later kept the phone back in his pocket. He walked into a shopping mall and did some shopping.

He came out of the shopping mall with two bags of new shoes and clothes. He stood by the road side and repeated calling someone on phone while checking the lost wallet. This guy began to walk down a street while the white guy keeps following him with camera without the knowledge of this black guy.

The street the black guy walked into was the neighborhood of this white guy, the white guy was wondering the black guy came to his neighborhood. The black guy stopped at the house of the white guy and started knocking at his door.
The black guy had already checked the address of the owner of the wallet on the ID he found in the wallet so he took this wallet to the house of the white guy. While knocking at the door, the white guy came to meet him that he's the owner of the wallet he picked from the floor.

The black guy returned the wallet and the white guy asked if he used his credit card to shop? Hmmm, surprisingly, the time the black guy went to shop he never touched the credit card and the money in the wallet, he has been using his own personal credit card to shop. So he returned the wallet back to the white guy, everything intact. This black guy said to the white guy that if he was the one that lost a wallet he would expect the person that finds it to return it so he won't steal someone else wallet.

This act really touched my heart, millions of this guy on earth could make a world a better place''.

    1. I would return it.

I lost my phone sometime ago and my battery was almost dead. The person put my sim in another phone and called my sis, I think he read a text message from my sist and concluded she's related to me. My sister thought they wanted to scam her so she refuse taking their calls again. The guy took the phone to a police station and the policeman called us the next day, the guy didn't even drop his phone number or anyway I can reach him.

Till today I still can't believe people exist like that in nigeria/lagos.

Stella Bae, not with the level of dryness in this country presently. Temperature dey rise seriously now o! I am naturally that kinda person that would return any lost but found item. But if faced with that kinda of temptation presently, the spirit might be willing but the body will definitely disagree. That, i'm sure of.

  27. Well,if I found a wallet on a bus/cab seat(I'd never pick up anything from the floor) I'd just tell the driver of my findings and leave it up to him.I once found a purse on a bus seat after the woman that sat near me alighted leaving her purse.I just turned it over to the driver.
    I don't touch what isn't mine.its just the way I was raised.
I cherish my night's rest.I can't do anything to disrupt it.

Returning the wallet depends on if it has any contact or details to trace the owner. If not, it is manna from Heaven oo....

    1. Lmao!! Some people can make u regret it when u do them a favour. Some will even act like u are entitled to do it for them...to say ' thank u" is a big deal. if not for individual principle, conscience, and fear of God.. I swear that some people do not deserve to be pitied.

  35. Huuhh!! Like am the one that sent in this post!!

About A month ago;after working for A client at the office,he left without knowing his wallet fell out of his back pocket while he was sitting down..when i was going out to ease myself;i saw the wallet on the chair, opened it;and saw huge stash of #1000 notes in it and also all his debit card..

Trully,i got tempted;i had some issues i needed money to sort out with and the other spirit in me was saying i should keep that wallet;that God can only bless any human on earth through another fellow human..

I looked at myself;yes i needed money but how long can the money in that wallet last me?? Can i live with the conscience knowing i have never tried that before..

Finally;i opened the wallet again;took out the man's I.D and called him on phone;telling him to come back to the office and collect his wallet which he left..The man came, and when i handed him his wallet,he became stiff...looking at me like he has never seen me before..he was like that for some minutes, then later on he collected it,counted four thousand from it and gave to me to collect as "Thank you"....i refused,he begged but i still refused..telling him i have forgotten my phone so many times at different places while working etc and for each time it happens, anybody that gets it will look for A way to get it back to me..

He finally thanked me and asked why i decided to return the wallet to him;and i told him i cant collect anything that doesn't belong to me;and that the day i decide to steal;i will plan with A crew and we will go straight to The Central Bank of Nigeria..so i can get the speculated cash i want...he laughed, and finally thanked me;then left after collecting my contact..

The next morning;i got an airtime worth #4,000..
I called to know who it was sending such amount of airtime and he explained it was him..i thanked him but told him i was going to transfer it back but he begged saying he hasn't been at peace since i refused to collect that cash the other day..i thanked him tho and that was it..once in A while when he comes to our office;he wont go until he sees me and that is just it..

Essence of this story;it is good to be good and prior to what most people think;just know there are still good people out there..

Yes;throughout that period of this incident,i was called names by so many people around who heard of the incident;but even at that,God has still been faithful to me,and who am i to complain..

    #LifeTho..everbody cant be the same!!

    4. Well done boy. Just like that airport lady. Favour has been embarrassing her ever since she returned that huge sum of money. Even though the actual person that owned the money did nothing tangible for her in appreciation, according to what we heard. But that singular act continues to open doors of greater opportunities for her, which can last a life time. It pays to honest.

  36. Year 2013 I lost a wallet and after 3or 4 days my collegue recieved a call that was meant for mebin the office from the police. They had my wallet they wanted me to come with identification and I did, everything was still intact. So there are still good people out there.

  37. There shouldn't be any second thoughts when one finds a lost or forgotten item.
The only thing should be 'find the owner'.

Apart from it being a sin, I can't afford to have that on my conscience at all.

  38. Wow....be kind to everyone, and make this world a better place.

But if I do pick up stuff like that in the future, il return it.

Two weeks to my introduction before my wedding, I was so broke nothing at all, I took a cab from wuse to asokoro, I sat at the back seat then saw this wallet, I took it opened it, it 4pieces of hundred dollars and another 12thousand naira. No ID card in the wallet to trace the owner, and I know the taxi driver will take it If I give it to him so I kept it for my use. And I later ask God for forgiveness.

  44. depends on whats in the wallet....if i see serious money in there $200-$2000 or more, i'll just take the money and discard the wallet or just keep it somewhere. im not going to lie and say i will return the money when in my money hungry mind im looking for.....so why discard such a blessing in disguise? 90% of people will do the same
