President Buhari Says Names Of Looters Will Be Published Soon.

President  Mohammadu Buhari said yesterday that his government will soon publish names of those who have returned portions of their loot from public coffers.

This was as one of his spokesmen, Garba Shehu,  said in Kaduna that the Presidency would step on toes in their anti-corruption fight. Shehu said that the Presidency would do so for the interest of Nigeria.

President Buhari, according to The Cable News, said that the Central Bank of Nigeria will soon publicly name those who looted Nigeria and who have returned part of they wrongly appropriated.

He said the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) was holding on from publishing the list in order to avoid jeopardising investigations and further recoveries.

  2. The past government had some apc members with them so in his fight for corruption he should not be one sided, his party people that stole should be held too, if not then he is a huge joker, a dictator who turned to a president, I blame his supporters who are now mostly regretting

    1. Exactly!!
So far the fight against corruption has been one-sided, he obviously doesn't want to step on the toes of his party members. Buhari I like you, I like your agenda but charity begins at home, Start from the inside first. You have been falling hands since May 29th.

    2. From your comment it's quite obvious you lack basic knowledge, how will an economy be stabilise if the past Gove have looted almost all the money meant for the good of the nation and you want him to sweep this aside and stabilise the economy. Not sure most of the people writing here pass through proper school or probably 80% bribed their way through school and with these they lack basic knowledge

    3. They actually passéd through proper schools. Education and positions are merely cloaks used to cover the very being of the people. The worst stealers, embezzlers, bad rulers etc are all well educated. Imagine what is coming out of the mouth of okonjo iweala, dokpesi, this day chairman as regards something as simple and straight forwards as the fact that money was drawn purportedly for arms purchase but shared for one frivolity or the other in a brazenly illegal manner and people are here with defence and rationalisation. Who is more educated than these people including gej with a phd

  18. I don't understand people who keep talking about corruption fight being onesided. If you have a petition or evidence, why not furnish it. People don't seem to know the law. The federal government is looking for federal government money not state government money. If your governor past or present stole your money and you sit down to ask the federal government to look for your state's money then you are ignorant of how federal Nigeria is. As long as the money in question wholly belongs to the state, it is the responsibility of that state or its citizens, who by the way have the locus standi, to look for their money by petitioning the efcc or other relevant bodies to probe. If your state governor or any governor you have stake in his state has a question to answer, simply write to the appropriate agencies with your proof and stop portraying ignorance
