Police To Dismiss Drunk Killer Cop Who Killed Himself And 3 Others...

A day after he killed three people after a drinking spree, the Lagos State Police Command yesterday said plans had been concluded to try and dismiss killer cop, Stephen James....

The trial means the deceased cop, with Force Number: 217884, who was attached to Mopol 22, Oduduwa GRA, Ikeja, would be tried and dismissed even in death.

James who was drunk, was said to have killed three undergraduates before finally killing himself at a pub attached to Paulson Hotel at Anibaba area of Ikosi in Ketu on Saturday.

Speaking on the incident, the state Police Commissioner, Fatai Owoseni, said the killer cop ceased to be a member of the Nigeria Police Force by his callous action, which led to the death of three persons.
He said: “We would try him even in death and dismiss him for his actions. We want to use this medium to sympathise with the families of the deceased.
“We also apologise for the irrational actions of the policeman, who also took his life.”

Also, the state police spokesman, Joe Offor, said the killer cop’s beret, shoes and other accoutrements would be tried in a police orderly room arrangement where sentence would be passed.

With the dismissal, the killer cop would not be entitled to any benefits due policeman who died in active service.
Thisday reportage.

CRIME SCENE

ARE YOU KIDDING ME?...WHO CARES WHETHER THEY DISMISS HIM OR NOT???i am so pissed with this!!!!
Three men have died and now they want to take action on his corpse, what have they done to all the policemen who have killed people in cold blood for no reason and are allegedly being investigated? HELLOO????

what are they doing about power drunk policemen who are still patrolling with loaded guns?

I am not sorry to say this but there is no difference between a Nigerian policeman and an armed robber..NO DIFFERENCE.

Fellow Nigerians, when you see a policeman,he is not your friend, please be careful, there is no difference between a policeman,a moving train without breaks coming your way and an armed robber!

May God give that old woman whose twins were gunned down the strength to carry on.

HISSS @Dismiss in death!

    3. This matter cannot annoy u more than me Stella. It's very disturbing and devastating. I wish the bastard didn't die, so that he can be severely dealt with for this dastardly act. I cannot remove the image of that old woman from my subconscious. After all she went tru to raise her only children who were the twins, one nobody of a failed officer just wiped away her joy in one day? I'm fact I feel like asking that his body be re gunned down and fed to the wolves. He won't rest in peace ever.

I suspect that the hotel that hired him did so without following due protocol. They prolly just tipped their local police station to have him guard the place. How can they even allow him take alcohol whilst on duty? They should share in the blame too. Cos from the report I read somewhere else, they said it wasn't his first time of getting drunk and misbehaving in the area. He should have been dismissed before now. Too sad. Now his family will not get compensated and his entire life in service was a total waste. For that I am happy.

  2. Stella, calm down and rest your nose. What the police force has done is to ensure that his family receives no benefits upon his death. Dismissal does not come with work benefits.

  11. The hotel and it's staff are culpable and should be tried in a court.
They all know the policeman was a catastrophe waiting to happen and none of them reported him.

May God comfort the woman and grant her peace of mind.

    NPF is a disgrace!

  14. I would say there is no difference between a policeman and untimely death because they find it very easy to bring out their gun to shoot innocent people for no reason. I think it is time the nigerian police get disarmed since they don't know the right people to use their guns on. Just killing innocent citizens that have a bright future for no reason.

    1. It's so that his family won't keep receiving money from the force, as people who their breadwinner died in active service.

But that is a very moot point here.
      Tf are they telling us?
      So we'll applaud them?

      This is just so annoying.

    2. It's the law as with uniformed men, whether dead or alive. They needed to establish this so that in future, his kids or family members will not start to seek his gratuity. If they don't dismiss him legally, albeit in absentia, he would be entitled the benefits even after death. So they did well for posterity.

  18. This is just terrible, I can't imagine what their poor mother must be going through. This is not and will not be the last time a senseless policeman will kill an innocent person.. What have they done about it in the past?? People should try and avoid as little as an argument with an armed policeman, most of them are senseless, frustrated and evil!!

  19. Whenever I see a police officer in Nigeria I always see them ad theives, this has been my mindset for many years, once I sight a police officer I see a thief

  21. My uncle,s police officer who was a guard usually goes out at night with his clothes on and a gun, he doesn't go out with his uniform, and he returns the next morning, till the day my uncle found out, obviously he goes to rob

    ReplyDelete
  22. Difference between the three :

An armed robber is doing his/her job, which is to rob.
If someone is killed by a robber, it's part of their job.
Though wrong, we all know that it's what they do.

A train without brakes,is an object, which has no mind of it own.
As long as your not on it's path, you'll be fine.

Policemen on the other hand, scum of the earth, despicable creatures, are men, who probably swore an oath, to protect the citizens of their country, but then, turn around, and become cold blooded murderers.
They are self styled executioners, with licenced weapons, who use it without thinking twice, whenever they feel like.
They snuff out lives, without looking back, and they boast about it, knowing nothing will happen.
They are the ringleaders of the crimes they are supposed to fight.
    Corrupt pot bellied cowards!

Whenever I see a policeman with a gun, I have a feeling no different from seeing a caged animal.

    Evil men!!

Dismiss my ass! And how is that going to bring the young men back?
    Mtchewww!

  23. Nigerian police will not cease to amaze me. They didn't even speak about the bereaved poor old woman. Of what use is the dismissal? What's going to happen to the entitlement? If you ask me, all his entitlements should be diverted to the poor woman. That is if some gluttonous ojasope at the top haven't started apportioning the lot.

  24. Dismiss someone who's already dead??!!! How stupid
