Nollywood Actor Femi Branch Charged To Lagos Court For Issuing Dud Cheque

Popular Nollywoood Actor and producer Femi Branch was recently charged to Ikeja Magistrate court for issuing a dud cheque of 1.5 Million Naira to De Santo hotel in Ikeja Lagos.




According to a source involved in the matter, the popular Yoruba actor issued the dud cheque to the hotel after staying in the hotel facility for months


The management of De Santo hotel lodged a complaint with the police , Femi was arrested and promptly charged to ikeja magistrate court 1. on November 20 where he was granted bail on self recognition with the sum of 500,000 Naira

The court also ruled that the accused should be remanded in Kirikiri prison pending when he fulfils his bail condition





We reliably gathered it took some weeks before Femi could fulfil his bail condition just in time for the Best of Nollywood award that took place in Ondo state where he was one of the compere...


The court also adjourned the trial of the accused to January 6, 2016.


What a shame!!!

      Na now u know? Most of them no get chichi kobo. Who dey even buy their movies when u can easily download current seasonal movies online and watch. Its only few who are into other business like clothing lines and all that are the ones making it to survive coupled with little runs they do.

      The male self their own worse pass cos it will be more harder for them. Forget all the hype they give themselves on instagram and all that. Most of them no get chichi kobo. Lolz.
      Thats why they cant afford hospital bills when they mistakenly fall sick and will come on national tv to beg (not saying begging is bad) but due to the fake lifestyle most of them live in order to represent they end up spending their last card in shopping and all that forgetting that tomorrow is pregnant. I guess they believe in that song. Kanyi biri be ndu ebisia ndu anyi amara ihe anyi ga eme echi. So why wont they be broke?

      Some fans places high expectations on this actors forcing them to leave above their means.

      The world of entertainment isn't plain black or white...sometimes, they have to live big inorder to make it or get connected. Anyways, I pity him and I hope his fellow counterparts learns from this and never allow the expectations of others push you to extreme means.

      Someone issued a dud cheque over 2years ago... He's yet to pay up, and you're talking about out of court settlement. Do you know the moves they've made in the past 2yrs to try to recover their money? A person who is running a business lost 1.5m and all you care about is the actor's image being tarnished.
