I know the government means well but it is wrong for Innocent people to have to pay the price of Looters,it is wrong!
Buhari should take a stand and call them all out and let them pay directly for their crimes or let them go,I hate this tepid water approach abeg!
They should come back home lol.
ReplyDeleteI am tired of Nigeria though, nothing is working and it's crazy.
Nigeria go better we keep saying but it keeps getting worse.
Which way Nigeria.
Everything is Buhari.
DeleteHe's the CBN governor now. The CBN governor gave a silky excuse.
Before now it's been $300 per day to withdraw.
Do you know long will it take a looter to finish collecting the loot?
Hin go tire sef to withdraw everyday.
Mtchewwwwwwwww.
They should fix it. My brother is practically stranded. If it Goin 2 take pple to match to Abuja I would join them.
DeleteThey should feel at least a little of what is happening back home.
Deleteit us really terrible though. Just put a bloody limit. I am so pissed honestly.
DeleteGood they are protesting
DeleteAlready commented on this on the naira post
His policies are unnecessarily harsh!!!
He should better fix this before m'trip Nxt year. INFS...
Exactly, I don't know why we are made to suffer for what those looters have done. We students abroad cannot go hungry. It is unfair!
DeleteChai! I feel their pain o. Meanwhile, its not Buhri biko.
DeleteBut if they are really in school there, they can do money transfer (form A) for feeding and co into their accts there without using atm cards, or that can't b done?
DeleteBut if they are really in school there, they can do money transfer (form A) for feeding and co into their accts there without using atm cards, or that can't b done?
DeleteGbogbo big girls hahhhaaa your comment brought tears to my eyes lol
DeleteAnon, sharap and be sure before u talk. Money cant be transferred for purposes other than school fees and medical bills.I have 4 brothers abroad so I know how hard it is on them now
DeleteAnd even when the money is transferred via form a, it takes 14 days to reflect to the school's account. This is so absurd
DeleteAnd the procedure for using the form a for money transfer is very long as it takes 14 days before the money leaves the account and reflects into the school's account. This is so ABSURD!
DeleteI follow them protest as well, what rubbish!!!
ReplyDelete*Larry was here*
Baba go slow abeg wake up and stop this silly law from being passed! Mr cbn governor,am sure u av loaded ur kids account abroad before talking about this shit!
DeleteKai ur very very mean. May fire burn u n all involve if u go ahead with this
Seriously they shld look into it because its affecting many people especially our brothers and sisters living abroad. Its so unfair
ReplyDeleteI'm already feeling sorry for them.
ReplyDeleteThis is bad
Ok o let's see if Bubu will do something about it!
ReplyDeleteVisa and Mastercard have pulled out of Nigeria which is why the international service is no longer available. Nigerian banks owe them billions. They charge customers for using the cards but do not remit the service providers. This has nothing to do with Buhari. We will soon hear names of those in GEJs govt that stole these billions.
DeleteHell no!! This is highly political. If Buhari didn't tighten up dollars, how on earth do you want banks to get money to credit visa/ MasterCard. Note that these banks settle these card companies in dollars; same dollar that is not in circulation. I hope you now understand that it's a boomerang effect. If dollar is pumped in, the banks will have funds to settle these card companies cos for every international transaction, these card companies settle on behalf of the banks and den pass the debit later to banks to remit the funds back to them in naira.
DeleteBanks have been owing these fees for years now so how does Buhari come in?
DeleteThey know the looters but I wonder why they cant face them. Look at what people are suffering cos of some faceless dirty thieves.
ReplyDeleteThis is going to be rough....
ReplyDeleteUzu, am a nurse and I can tell you, God bear me witness, I have encountered hundreds of women who want to go under the knife and syringes to get family planing. I don't know if its fear of annoying the husband, inferiority towards the man or wanting to show the man you are 'mumushly' respectful, or showing that she is solely the cause of birthing kids here and there, thereby drawing the gossips, shame and laughs from the public alone. I bet some bvs even mock such women. The average Nigeria woman will even remove her womb for no reason other than it was requested by her husband to stop child birth while the man flirts with womb embodied women whose ox and womb clevage sweetens the p*nis tip.
ReplyDeleteA woman I chatted with about two years ago at the clinic said she doesnt know what family plan to take again. The tube tied got inflamed with infection permiting its loosening hence baby girl number 7! She has equally taken injection 1,2,3 months plan it didnt work. I adviced that she talked to her husband to do sterilization she said he will not oh that he even warned her that if she doesnt stop birthing kids he'll run away that after the fourth child he warned her to stop.
Wrong post
DeleteOk where exactly is this rant originating from?????
DeleteThat said ,which school do these ones attend where they are not taught to read or write properly.
Again. There is no need to make such haste decisions ,govt should think this thru and review.it's affecting the innocent for real.
GEJ is the causer
ReplyDeleteEnough of the blame game
DeleteThat's we we evicted him
For someone to prefer solution and not continue blaming
Anti people policies. APC needs to remember that power comes from people.
ReplyDeleteThey better pick a struggle or shut their mouth
ReplyDelete89% of them voted for @Buhari
@Galore
Haba, people abroad can't vote yet nah sisi Galore
DeleteIdiot if your parents can't afford sending you to school abroad stop pouring out your frustration on the lucky ones...
DeleteThis is one of the ways which the Nigerian government intends to strengthen our very weak naira. I honestly don't know if this will work.
ReplyDeleteThis won't work at all trust me
DeleteThey said not collecting dollar at the bank will strengthen naira but it didn't, rather it kept depreciating
This won't either
So what will work?
DeleteBuhari's govt is very confused and backward.
ReplyDeleteNa real wa
ReplyDeleteThis president is definitely wicked,...
ReplyDeletehoney It's not a must to comment you know?
DeleteVote for change!!!
ReplyDeleteGood job
ReplyDeleteMeanwhile, are they only 5 students abroad?
ReplyDeleteU are so daft!
DeleteYou're so intelligent! Jovita! What a name! Better change that name to Bournvita. Scalywag
DeleteExactly
ReplyDeletePeople will come here and rent about how it will help the economy but the truth is its not going to help any economy at all
It would make the cost of things in the market very high.
It would increase black market rate, we know banks don't give out dollars unless thru form m. So 80% of Nigerians get money from black market
Small business people who are trying to survive will go broke because they won't be able to pay for things anymore
Students abroad would starve
All because of mistakes of people they can track and ask them to remit what they stole
Why put the whole nation in a state of trouble, that would solve problems temporary not permanently
That's how they said not paying in dollars in to Dom account will help the economy and naira but naira keeps depreciating
All they are doing now is trial and error
I love Buhari, I want him to succeed and make this country great again but please can he warn the central bank governor?? If he can't carry out his responsibilities let him step down for someone with better plan to step in
That guy can't even spell the name of his president correctly.....
ReplyDeletei am a nigerian student in the uk. stella its not easy without my naira card. even my pocket money, the cbn refused to approve it to be transferred to the uk. it is all shades of wrong.. they are wrong. is this what zahra goes through?? thats my question. my parent look for means to transfer funds to me. one is through my naira account. now they want to ban it. let hit the nail on the head. you either cbn approve my pocket money or let me use my naira card
ReplyDeleteYour parents are wasting their money on you. Olodo!
DeleteLmao,serious waste.
DeleteHi....Tell ur parents to use a form A for living expenses so dey can remit ur pocket moni to u.
DeleteStella, dis nu year. Be constructive with your criticism.
ReplyDeleteOmo, are all these people "in the abroad?" Chai!!! I reserve my comment.
ReplyDeleteSee your mouth. At least, they have the exposure. Where you dey, mushin or Agege?
DeleteMcheww. Yeye dey smell!
This is really a very bad act innocent people suffering from what they know nothing about? Gosh.... When krix said it I thought he was just joking or something
ReplyDeleteIdo kawai nasa........
ReplyDeleteThis is no protest.
ReplyDeleteJust leave the government with their ruies as an accountant I understand the importance of the rules but they can put restrictions instead of banning it completely, it's hard people!!!
ReplyDeleteHmmmn
ReplyDeleteStella Stella
Lip sealed
Oh Lordy,
ReplyDeleteI feel sorry for Nigerians trapped overseas.
Some students even use their parents cards to withdraw so I can imagine the shock right now.
Recently, some bank cards were suspended in China and Dubai because of card frauds(sorted out now)... ordinary business men and women keep paying for the greed of others.
You cannot even withdraw your dollars or pounds from your Dom account. You will be paid in naira.
Can't buy BTA or PTA easily.
Cannot pay in your FX into a bank here in Nigeria.
Western union has a threshold daily, you can't transfer a certain amount.
I am sure FG and the CBN governor are working to see a way around this come Jan 2016.
Godwin Emefiele is a brilliant chap.
Merry Christmas my wonderful people!
Came to the shout out post late..
Love you,love you,love youuuuu
Na waooo President bubu
ReplyDeletewhr r d rest students. .. they've gone to hustle abii definitely this few ones are the looters children ... see that one with full beards, that one too na student or a student daddy ... FG needs to reconsider this policy cause its affect business peeps too not only students
ReplyDeleteYou don't allow people pay in dollars in their dom account
ReplyDeletePeople can't travel with more than 5k dollars
One can't use their naira card abroad
And we want investors? !
How are they suppose to invest please?? How are they supposed to get their money back??
It's not possible not to trade with other countries?!
I'm ranting because I know Alot of SME who buy things online and see in Nigeria to fend for themselves
How are theh going to continue??
Are they suppose to starv now??
The poor are made to suffer the undoing of the rich

ReplyDeleteYou asked for change and got it! Stop complaining and endure.
ReplyDeleteOk
ReplyDeleteSo Doppelganger right? Now you're trying to be funny with other peoples predicament, that's not fair, you don't know the pain they are going through especially the once who are not entitled to work but only depend on the little their folks give them.
ReplyDeleteThose blaming Buhari, is he the Finance Minister?
The fact that the CBN governor is practicing trial and error doesn't mean Buhari gave him that order.
The likes of Galore keep cussing when it comes to Buhari 's matter, weda na dude abi na babe , you gotta learn to be patient, as Yoruba say a pe ko to je, ko le je baje. Give him that benefit of doubt at least a year, of which it's not enough to turn what the corrupt people have done to get this country to where it is atm.
For everything wrong with d country during gej's tenure, was he not blamed? Was he not blamed wen the oil price went down like it was his doing. Pls biko, buhari should be rather to bear the brunt of d bad as well as d good. I can't shout abeg.
DeleteWondering why I am mentioned there.
DeleteOkay I should carry placard too and join them or aren't we all going through worse over here?
Please direct your frustration to your leaders and not me.
I was Buhari's no1 fan, I even voted for him for the first time I ever voted in my life. But this suffering in this country is becoming too much. All they do is blame Jonathan. Is Jonathan also the cause of dem doing this Credit card restriction. I travel soon, I don't even know what to do. Banks are not doing PTA, also restriction on that. Am I to go to mallam dat may give me fake dollars. I haven't bout from mallam in ages, use to do PTA, den after started using my card. Pls President Buhari d suffering you are causing the masses is just too much. Majority of us on dis blog are atleast comfortable. If you know what d average man is growing thru. I met an old man recently at d hospital, he cuts job dere but has worked wit govt for 20yrs.He spoke with so much pain, dat all day his been waiting for alert, nothing. Dat he already promised kids to take them to Mr Biggs for Christmas, ordinary mr Biggs oh, dat one is turning 10. But as it is no alert, they can't go. Smone know asked why he didn't bring his car. He said car he has sold since. That he has to pay school fees January. I felt sad for d man, I just gave him 3k he shld use it to buy smthn small for d kids. Pres Buhari I don't really care weda dis is Jonathan's fault or even Tafawa Balewas fault. Pls dis suffering you are puttn us thru is much. We can't be suffering for d sins of d politicians and super rich bcos dey are abusing d credit cards.
ReplyDeleteExactly, at the end of the day these thieving politicians will not be affected.
DeleteBed n roses. U just typed a meaningless long epistle.
DeleteYou must be a joker thinking the politicians are the ones most affected?? They have foreign accounts if you don't know itch lotsa money in them o!
DeleteThe CBN or whoever that imposed this restriction should have a rethink because it will affect a lot of things.you can't wake up one day and make rules without considering the masses..
ReplyDeleteStella what has thieving politicians got to do with this policy? What has Buhari got to do with this? Biko enlighten me! is Buhari the CBN governor?.
ReplyDeleteThis CBN took this measure simply to control the dollar demand! Na monetary policy to strengthen the naira.
BTW, other measures were also taken like blocking payments to foreign websites, and others.
Point is, the CBN the autonomous arm of government in charge of monetary policy is simply trying to shore up the nations currency, The Naira.
P.S these measures are for the short term, and politicians who loot public funds move such funds to tax havens where they wind as investment portfolios.
When the First Lady said only seven persons shared more than three trillion naira my first reaction was thank God they now know the looters but of cause no names were named. Since these guys are known why are they afraid to go after them? Is it that these few individuals are untouchable? Why is Bubu beating about the bush why can't these persons accounts be frozen? Why make everyone else suffer for these few elites? Pls somebody help me with answers before Apc supporters come under my comment to tell me my life history which they seem to know more than me.
ReplyDeleteEvery policy by our dear government is always against the poor masses.
ReplyDeleteWhy are we suffering from the problem of others. They should review this limit cos it seriously will affect people abroad. $1000.00 is rather too small for a month, not to talk of business people.
ReplyDeleteInnocent people keep paying the price of the bad things done by politicians. I'm tired of Naija honestly.
ReplyDeleteBut the guy's spelling sha. Issorai
ReplyDeleteHow are this kids going to survive now Abasi mbok
ReplyDeletelol I should show my brother this post. This buhari guy is a nuisance. Well I'm moving back in January so I won't be affected my brother will though.
ReplyDeletelol I should show my brother this post. This buhari guy is a nuisance. Well I'm moving back in January so I won't be affected my brother will though.
ReplyDeleteFor those of you asking why President Bubu should be blamed for this. Are you not Nigerians?Have you forgotten quickly how GEJ was blamed for everything that happened in this country during his tenure?Even when people's toilet refused to flush,GEJ was blamed.President Buhari should be ready for all this & more,he should also be ready to motivate those he has appointed to take up various responsibilities,to provide solutions to problems and not continue this stupid & idiotic blame game.
ReplyDeleteAll this corruption talk is really becoming annoying. Too much talk & no action.I bet in few months time,we won't hear anything different from what we are hearing now, afterall they are all politicians.Na siddon look me dey sha.
Country hard o! Obodo wu zi azigbote igwe right now,God help us.
End time protest
ReplyDelete@First Class. The lady or man who is claiming to be a nurse. Do you know anything about confidentiality????.. You are online disclosing private information about a patient just because you want to state your point which is off topic and confusing or maybe I read the post Stella posted wrong. No comment smh
ReplyDeleteThis is very bad.policies like this favour only the rich. How will students who depend on their ATM card to withdraw upkeep money now survive? I am so worried. All my children studying in Ghana will not have money through their ATM anymore. How will they survive? This is really worrying. What kind of government is this?
ReplyDeleteJoking rite huh
ReplyDeleteThis is just stupidity at its peak, tried making payment yesterday online with a uk website and it was declined. Why do we have to suffer for the sins of politicians, mean while the so called rich politicians would fly first class to get these things done. I'm just tired of nigeria
ReplyDeleteWhen we hear that some igbo guys are swallowing huge sums of dollars to travel abroad with, una go dey wonder why. U don see am now? Buhari administration, change my foot.
ReplyDeleteThey should just stop all these trial error because it won't work..if the economy is falling Bihari should tour the world and look for experts in these field and consult them..instead of making stupid decision here and there..just missed a good deal yesterday because of CBN Governors stupidity
ReplyDeleteNa wa
ReplyDeleteWhy should they being suffering from what those looters looted.
