The office of the Nigerian Arts, Fashion and Beauty (NAFB) Awards has set a goal to annually celebrate the best of Nigeria’s creative and performing arts, vast fashion designs and beauty accomplishments amidst celebrities, awards presentation, fashion show, cultural display and indigenous evergreen music.
On Saturday April 30th 2016 in the city of Houston, Texas, Founding Fathers Incorporated, the organizer of the annual NAFB Awards backed by the full faith and credit of the Nigerian community will recognize and honor deserving Nigerians for their conspicuous positive impact to the development and promotion of our rich arts and ethnic fashion values.
Prestigious NAFB Awards will be shared among stakeholders in the dynamic arts and fashion sectors namely; comedian, fashion designers, make-up artists, arts/fashion writers, musicians, fabric merchants, hair stylists, red carpet hosts, actors/actresses and fashion & entertainment enthusiasts.
As the nomination criteria for the 2016 awards remain stringent, the awards become difficult to obtain for all but the socially prominent figures. Simply put, only a select group of people who have positively influenced the Nigerian arts and fashion scene will ever carry the NAFB Awards trophy.
The event which is being tagged a night of high fashion, glamour and encomium will hold on Saturday April 30th 2016 at the prestigious Hilton Houston Southwest Hotel. 6780 Southwest Freeway, Houston, Texas 77074 starting from 6pm – 11pm CST, and will parade galaxy of Nigerian celebrities from within and outside the US.
The 2016 NAFB Awards which is the 9th of its series will showcase two popular Nigerian designers who have clothed international celebrities with their exquisite collections at the fashion show. In addition, names of participating fashion houses, performing acts, sponsors and partners will be announced shortly.
The annual NAFB Awards Gala is a private event and only invited guests and accredited media personnel will be able to attend. Also, there is a strict dress code. (Formal Traditional Nigerian Attire.)
Goodluck to those who will attend
