Ambrose Chukwudubem (62) was almost lynched by an angry mob in Owerri, Imo State, for defiling two girls whose ages were as 11 and 12 respectively.
Ambrose Chukwudubem who was caught in the act, was striped and beaten mercilessly by the mob before he was rescued by the Imo Security Network, and taken to their station.
He is a native of Umuoparadim Autonomous Community, Isu-Dimnanume in Nwangele Local Government Area of the state and had confessed that he had defiled the girls who are both in the primary school,twice each before he was caught.
In his confession, Ambrose Chukwudubem said:“I don’t have any reason for doing it. My brother, it is the devil. I have defiled them two times, each. They come from their school, Waterside Primary School, Owerri Urban, during break period to my house in Oparanozie Street where we do it.”
The suspect who is a shoemaker, said he gave the girls between N50 to N100 after each s3xual assault.
One of the victims said the suspect used to entice them with gala and coke, after which he would forcefully rape them.
