The Minister of information and culture Alhaji Lai Mohammed has assured Nigerians that the military has met up with the deadline of the fight against Book Haram,he said this during his maiden meeting with editorial heads of media houses in Lagos.
According to him " “I can confidently say this because just recently, I led a
group of 33 journalists from both the local and international media to the hot bed of the insurgency,that is, Maiduguri, Kondugua, Kaoure and Bama.“Today, I can report to you that the entire 70 plus kilometres stretch from Maiduguri to Bama and all the way to Banki which leads to Cameroon and the Central African Republic are in the hands of our gallant troops.”
He also noted that however,though there were still cases of suicide bombings, it was necessary to note that such was the nature of insurgency globally......

Today no local government area is under Boko Haram authority compare to six month ago when they occupied 18 local government areas. Even the attack on maiduguri is now skeletal. Accepting this reality doesn't mean I support Buhari. In fact his policy has messed up my business.
