How A Cancer Of Corruption Steals Nigerian Oil,Weapons And Lives...

This is a shocking and embarrassing Report....OMG!

''When you fight corruption,Corruption fights back''

This report is done by a foreign Journalist and is so detailed it would leave you ashamed for Nigeria.
Oh that man crying in the last part left me totally broken...why kill his wife?

In Nigeria, where corruption is part of daily life, police officers routinely demand bribes, local government leaders pocket money meant for schools and the former national security advisor is accused of stealing billions from the military. As part of a week-long series "Nigeria: Pain and Promise," special correspondent Nick Schifrin reports on the challenges of fighting corruption.

    1. Oh my God. I am in tears. This is so inhuman. Stella what are we saying here,I am about to blow a whistle on pastor Ayo Oritsejafor and if I am Lying, may I not live to see next year. This man owns one of/if not the most expensive private schools in warri.
Inside the school premises he has two orphanages, but guess what? These children are not even allowed to go to that school, they pass the back gate to go to igbudu/ogborikoko primary school (which is govt prim school and apparently free). Now, this was a man that dined and wined with the presidency and the high and mighty, he uses these orphans as front to get massive donations from people here and in diaspora but instead he channels the cash to equip the school for the elites while these kids are meant to look at the so called special kids and admire them from afar. This is so disheartening because it puts them down psychologically from this beginning (reminded everyday that they are 3rd class citizens).
Most people in warri often go to donate in other orphanages with the mindset that these ones are well taken care of but I can tell you that they are one of the poorly fed and managed orphanage, what an irony.
These kids are not even upto 30, they are not in same class group so atleast 5 can be in each class or maybe worse case scenario give the very intelligent ones an opportunity as an encouragement for others to study hard.
May God have mercy on our souls. Until we begin to be that change we seek, we will never get there.

Was in the airport months back at the arrival, a clergy man with his full bishop regalia gave a policeman money so he can pass through a restricted area. No respect for God or shame for what people will say.

Y'all shouting witch hunting, i've not seen your comments. Please just stay off this post.

  4. Corruption has eaten deep into Nigeria, in all spheres and sectors. Security is just one of them. What about health, education? It will take more than just prosecuting and jailing perpetrators cos these people have laid corrupt eggs which have hatched into corrupt chicks but it is a first step and a laudable one at that.

Truth still remains a thief cannot fight a thief.
How will corruption be vanquished when those placed to fight corruption are corrupted.
@Godwins wife's death,i wonder what became of d policeman,d last i heard,it was being rumoured that he had been arrested bt that alone isn't enough for murder, dude shouldav been shot aswell.
It's a pity we keep tarnishing our image and it's known all over for a fact that we are indeed most corrupt.

    1. Sad after watching heinous crime committed by few elites in government, our youths will come here to tell us government is witch hunting these criminals. We are fighting each other while the politicians mock us. Imagine your family member being killed because you could not afford to bribe police.
Why do some call Jonathan who wasted our billions their hero? A man who ruined your future. Our money was free for all during his regime. Are you seeing the figures mentioned with documents to back it up?
Just tell me why God will not continue to punish our political elites with terminal illness. Money meant for ammunition is shared among politicians while our young men fight boko haram without bullet. Those who supported Goodluck Jonathan regime should bury their head in shame seriously. This is not NTA, sahara reporters or premier times reports. Just look at how a man is left without his loving wife because he could not afford $10 bribe.Someone's life is sniffed out just for a peanut.
PMB need to constitute a tribunal for corrupt elites and their families, government need to build new jail to move in old inmates while the old jail is kept for politicians.
They need to taste how bad our country has been ruined.
      It's a shame.

    2. This is not a matter of supporting goodluck please. Remember some people who supported him initially r still in APC. Wat happens to them?

    1. Honestly I was shocked when I saw the comments on that post, if we want Nigeria to be better we need to start by changing our mind set, students needs to stop bribing lecturers for grades, when money is mistakenly paid into our accounts we need to start returning them back, the change we seek needs to start from us.

  29. The most pitiable part of this whole thing is the youths supporting them when they scream witch hunt.
They are using us as a weapon to fight back at corruption. I don't have anything against the Jonathan administration except for d fact that he open his arms wide and embraced corrupt people. It was as if you're not corrupt you are not his friend.

  30. Its so sad such a thing happened to this man.

But let me start first, why do I have the feeling this was done to start up the accusations against the past government especially GEJ era..

Police have been killing pple since the time of obj and most of them were swept under the carpet.

Until I see real corruption fight by this new govt...I will believe their change mantra.
You showed us a school in the north where the students are sitting on the floor learning...next you showed us the empire and how he rides in the exotic ride.pls can't he build or help renovates those school..
Go to the east they have situations like that, but some of their rich and high mighty people offer scholarship and even help in renovation of schools, after all the children are our own and we musnt fold our hands and keep on waiting on the govt and the children be wasting away.

You are now using this story to cover our eyes and start pointing fingers..

You all are the same..both PDP and APC..

The money you recovered where is it..every time we turn left and right all we hear is you are fighting corruption, yet 5% of your campaign promises have not been implemented. Nonsen

    1. The best and most analytical comment of all. Corruption didn't start with GEJ's govt it goes further back. We need a total overhaul of our leaders n politicians. Buhari cant talk about fighting corruption when he has some very strange bedfellows.

      Delete
    2. God bless you. They r all busy shouting GEJ upandan. Be truthful to yourselves!!!

    3. If you ask me who I go ask?????They will come and say how Sanusi is building and helping out just hearsay o ,we never see the results . Truly how much will it cost to do at least 2 buildings for that school?

      Delete
    4. As a native leader he can only do so much. Renovation apprival of the school will come from the ministry of education first. That on its own is a bribing spree to embark on.
We can keep blaming people, but let's not for get that Nigerian operations are centered around its' Government.
