The presidency issued the directive this week asking all ministers and other top officials to avoid"unwarranted”foreign trips on the public purse, Communications MinisterEdward Omane Boamah told media.
The ban comes into effect as the country implements an IMF aid deal to revive state finances.....

ReplyDeleteLol
DeleteRide on Ghana.. nigeria is next
DeleteLMAO. No chill. Anti kwarapshion.lol
DeleteHahahahaha... Anti kwarapshion kwa!!!!
DeleteYes Stella. We're all thinking the same thing about this ban.
DeleteIf Buhari cannot at least try to introduce this then he better not open his mouth about being anti corruption.
Nice one Mr Ghana presido.
DeleteBuhari should adopt this also.
Even if they implementation this in Nigeria it won't work. Public officers will still claim it's their personal monies they are using to fly first class. How do u then separate the wheat front the chaff? When they know how they divert funds for personal use. So really, they may not ask for it officially but they'd still enjoy the first class services by indirect spending.
DeleteEwoo see as I gbagaun. Lmao.
Delete**if they implement this**
End time Ghanaman
ReplyDeleteI hope Nigerian people are reading to follow suit
ReplyDeleteNass would never agree to it.
DeleteThey would never follow suit, they would even approve first class for the their families, dogs, gf, concubines, furnitures, anything just name it.
Deletebetter..... wish it can be done in Nigeria
ReplyDeleteAha! Now that's a country that plans for the future
ReplyDeleteE no make sense abeg....
ReplyDeleteYou say??? Hehehe
ReplyDeleteGood move from him
ReplyDeletePMB the charismatic and influencing leader of Africa. He sets the pace and others follow.
ReplyDeleteI don't care what anyone says about this current administration because I believe so much in Mr President's leadership. He would make some terrible mistakes too but I am certain his experience and passion for this great country shall see him through.
People are just being sentimental about his administration but at last, even the blind shall see the good work been done by Buhari.
GOD BLESS NIGERIA.
LONG LIVE THE LAND OF THE RISING SUN.
Charismatic? lets see
DeleteFrom ur long sermon u r d 1 being sentimental
Please what good work?
DeleteExactly.
DeleteYes oooh stella
ReplyDeleteBuhari learn from your colleague/ counterpart
Good move ,Nigeria when
ReplyDeleteIt can never happen in this country.
DeleteDiz is what I call oshondilapa! Stella take note
ReplyDeleteOur government needs to learn from this sha....
ReplyDeleteNice one
ReplyDeleteThis is serious.a good leader indeed.Nigeria top officials are u reading this......ewu
ReplyDeleteWhen will our officials start theirs?
ReplyDeleteThis doesn't really make any sense.
ReplyDeleteWell done Ghana, when will all this so called officials in nigeria really need to do the same. But I bet all those officials including senators and minsters will vote against it. Useless politicians!!!
ReplyDeleteWay to go
ReplyDeleteOya oo Naija.
ReplyDeleteaiit
ReplyDelete#GODWIN™
Good move, Nigeria should adopt
ReplyDeleteThis should be implemented here o. I remember Niger state governor travelled then to watch Arsenal's march. According to him so he can improve sports in his state
ReplyDeleteFrivolous travels and expenditures should be screened out.
Naija won't see this on and emulate.
ReplyDeleteVery good. PMB follow suit please, i'm sure the stubborn leaders we have here will frown at this.
ReplyDeleteNigeria should follow suit
ReplyDeleteNigeria follow suit
ReplyDeleteGood move!
ReplyDeleteI hope our Government will see dis and do likewise too.
ReplyDeleteI am definitely thinking what you are thinking mama
ReplyDeleteNigeria should follow suit.
ReplyDeleteThis is very interesting............. Adalamba
ReplyDeleteMaking sense.
ReplyDeleteHe is following Tanzania's president, Pombe Magufuli. Magufuli banned public holidays, unnecessary travel by ministers and gvn officials. Slashed budgets and sent the money to hospitals and schools.
ReplyDeleteI just wish our dear country can emulate good things and move forward.... nice one Ghana
ReplyDeleteYou all be shouting follow suit, were we not here when this same Ghana publicly shamed a judge that was caught on camera taking bribes and how the video was aired in their cinema for the public to view? We had a case of one Faruk Lawal who was also caught on camera taking bribes what happened to him? I think he even completed his tenure in the senate without any action taken against him. Nigeria public officials don't do first class they charter private jets and they can't stop now when even Bubus son travels with him on official capacity as an aid or son I don't know. We can never be like Ghana except we pass through her experience but wifi we get a Jerry Rolling to save us?
ReplyDeletePMB should pls follow suit and implement the same that is if NASS will allow him sha...
ReplyDeleteIf buhari tries it now they would say it is because he is a cattle rearer.
