RAPE RANT

Good day Stella,
I really don't know where this falls but I just want to share this but I've not had peace

So I went to t hospital this morning with my dad for his surgery. I was just at d reception and different people were coming in with different ailments, I was really just there thinking and thanking God cos I can't even Remember the last time I went to hospital or even fell sick. It's really not my power, it's just God's grace. While all this was going through my head I saw a woman walk in with a young lady, the lady should be in her late 20's or so.

She was really looking dirty, rough and like someone that had trekked a very long a distance on a mud road.her dress was covered with blood. I was really shocked and wondering what could have happened..did she attempt abortion and ended up bleeding? Or was she beaten? Even if she was,thats not enough reason for her to limp,couldn't even walk well and the blood all over her..shit I just sat there talking to mum and asking her what she thought happened to the lady..Nobody had an answer. 

Mehn she was groaning in pains with her teary eyes. Then a nurse walked up to where she was sitting and she was narrating to her. She spent about 30 minutes doing that. She couldn't talk well.at a point I ignored and focused on my dad cos at that point he was out of the theatre. Then we left and got home. My dad now told me and mum what happened that the lady was raped. I was really heart broken! According to her she entered a car I guess going back home and the driver loved d car and took her to a building where he had other guys waiting. They all raped her. 

My dad dint really get the full story(he was in the doctors office when the whole thing was going on) he was in pins and dizzy so he couldn't get much info. The lady said after they raped her, she told them she wanted to shower, that's how they allowed her to just go shower then she escaped, struggled and jumped to the next compound but nobody opened up because it was midnight, she tried the next compound ‎and she was lucky. So they took her in. Then they brought her this morning to the hospital. 

I just don't know why people rape! I'm sick to my stomach..i just wish I dint even find out the real story. I've not even had peace since I learned what happened to her. I'm heart broken because I can still picture her face groaning in pains.why will anybody go through such pains? I just wish something can be done to RAPIST in this country. I'm really sick and tired. BABY VICTOR UPDATE

Hello Stella, Good morning to you and yours.

I visited them in the hospital on Tuesday this week and he's doing just fine. I saw the mum also and she told me the 1st bandage was removed few days after the surgery and changed though that space is just an empty hole! The doctors said they don't have small artificial eyes for babies yet only for adults and that he's even too small for that now.

I must say the boy is a very strong baby! All he cries for is breast milk and that she feeds him so much that the doctors are complaining because his stomach is swollen as a result of that. 

The wife of Lagos State Governor visited them again last week and gave them 100k and another 200k to all those in that particular ward as I was told.

Thank you so much Stella and all BVs who assisted baby Victor. I know they will be discharged whenever the doctors see improvement in his health
