BOOBS DISCHARGING MILK AND BLOOD!
Stella,I hope this mail meets you well. Help me fix this in d DIHN section. I'm very confused right now. I've been having milk coming out of my boobs for a while now. Since June this year,I think.
Once, blood came out and it stained my cloth. Since then,I have been pumping milk out like I own a milk factory. And it's always painful at times. There's no money to take a mammogram cuz my mum has enough on her plate now. I'll be 18 soon and I'm scared. Please bv's,what do you think. And is there any natural way to cure this. Thanks.
Jeez!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is serious
DeleteYou are heal by the power of God oh
The milk discharge is HIGH PROLACTINAMIA. The blood I have no idea. This is something you shouldn't delay. Go for homornal profile analysis immediately and you will be placed on drugs. Drugs for high prolactin cost though and u will be on it for a while. Where are u?
DeletePlease visit the hospital
DeleteBloody discharge: Generally, the one type of discharge you should worry most about, since it can signal cancer, is bloody: red to dark brown. And it would only be a cancer symptom if it occurred in ONE breast, not both. A bloody discharge doesn’t necessarily mean you have cancer; it can also be the result of a blow to the breast, or a benign papilloma (a small growth in the milk duct). But it means cancer is a possibility, and you should definitely get it checked by a doctor.
DeleteOh puliz! Stop scaring d girl joor. She is already scared. Babe, u need to go to d hospital. Health first. It might be hormonal imbalance, but blood kwa? I don't know again. Just go to the hospital. General Hospitals are cheaper like Pretty Asha said. Biko, even ur mum u mentioned shud be worried dead.
DeleteOh my God, y do people play with their health. My dear visit d hospital and not Stella blog. It may be cancer sef. May God heal u fast.
ReplyDeleteU didn't mention your location
DeleteSee her mouth like no money to visit the hospital. Have you tried to visit the general hospital. Goodness me I wonder how people joke with their health.
Delete@ Olufunmi: that is quite insensitive. A lot of people can't even afford to eat once a day. U don't know how bad their financial condition is. Even though general hospitals are cheaper than most hospitals, some people can't still afford it. Before u talk bad about someone, try to walk in their shoes.
DeleteI think it's infection, just go to a general hospital and get treated.it's cheaper there
ReplyDeletelord have mercy, try nd look for money for a mammogram pls, there is nothing herbal here

ReplyDeleteYoung lady you are not discharging milk because it's not milk even though it appears milky. At 18, that's a serious case because you are not expected to have misused your body. So find a way of going tests which include breast scan, hormone assay etc. Please try and reveal, if any, any 'drugs or procedures' you might have had to your physician. Good luck. Remember it's not a matter to be handled by a pastor
ReplyDeleteu'll 18 pls do something fast may God heal u
ReplyDeleteOne quick question? Is there no general hospital around you?
ReplyDeleteI smell cancer of the breast.
ReplyDeleteAnd u are just 18?? Omg.
Let your mum leave everything that's on her hands now and take u to the doctor.
Your health first. Get well soon.
For the milk I think it's High prolactin level (pcos) but can't say for the blood . You should go for homonal profiling
ReplyDeleteGo get screened for cancer.hurry up.it may save your life.see a doctor NOW
ReplyDeleteNa wah ooh
ReplyDeleteHaving a discharge or drainage from your nipples when you are not pregnant is not always suggestive of serious illness. It should be investigated, don’t assume it’s unimportant. Persistent seeping of fluid from the nipples often has no known reason, but for others it is a basis for concern. While the age and medical condition of the patient is a factor, even young women can get breast cancer.
ReplyDeleteWith any discharge, the color, consistency and odor should be observed to accurately describe it to your doctor. This information will assist with diagnosis.
If the discharge appears, milky colored and you are not breast-feeding or pregnant, you may have a hormone imbalance. For some reason your prolactin level is possibly higher than normal, this is called galactorrhea. It is not a disease, but may be a symptom of a disorder.
In contrast, a clear but sticky substance is frequently one of the first signs of inflammation or infection. The underlying cause is what needs to be determined and medically treated if required. With a severe infection, you will probably see bloody pus like material excreted. You should expect you to have a significant amount of pain with this and intravenous antibiotics may be required.
When leaking pure blood, you must think back and ask yourself if there was any trauma to that breast. Without a physical injury as the explanation, you must consider infection or even cancer as the reason. You need to pay attention to how much blood is coming out, is it a trickle or more.
If one breast is involved, there is a most likely a localized origin, an infectionor a cyst. If both breasts are affected, it broadens the scope of possibilities. It could be a reaction to medication, a pituitary gland disorder, cancer and the list goes on. In either scenario, you will need a complete checkup and to follow the recommendations of your physician.
