PREGNANT WITHOUT A BABY
Goodday Stella,
I need your doctors in the house to help me, am very confused, am pregnant and when i was nine weeks i started spotting went to the hospital and an ultrascan was carried out, it showed an empty sac without a baby, the doctor said is a missed abortion and said in few weeks time i would miscarry or he should book me in for a dnc.
it broke my heart cos it is my first as i just got married few months ago, he gave me two weeks to come back that by then the sac would be collapsing by then, but am very fine and i have not signs of miscarry, he did another scan after two weeks and he said the sac is reading eleven weeks but still no baby and no trace of miscarry as the sac is closed and still firm, he has given me another two weeks to come back,I and my husband we are so worried i have never heard of this before and i dont even no what else to do, i need advise and if any one has gone through this before and what was the outcome.

DeleteA woman testified @shiloh about same thing darling. Doc couldn't find baby and she was menstruating and pregnant for the whole 9months. The day she gave birth after drinking Hebron water was when they believe and confirmed. Don't stress yourself, be prayerful and stay calm. Jesus is lord.
DeleteI suggest you try another doctor or go for scan in a different place. Maybe is too early for scan to detect the foetus or is an ectopic. I know you are passing through hard times now but hold on to God and have faith. It's well.

DeleteThank you Femi,this is exactly what I witnessed in one hospital at Ajah,where a woman in labour was abandoned by doctors cause there was no baby in sac when scan was carried out and she delivered right there at the hospital gate and I said it here,one anonymous called me a liar.This goes to show that God is more than any doctor.

You can create your own baby thru your faith! God put that sack in u because he knows a baby will come out of there.
But you need to ride with God's words and your faith too.
Visit any winners chapel and buy CDs of Shiloh and start watching all while preaching a baby into ur womb. I will be praying for u too. Can't wait for your testimony.

You people are so ridiculous. What has Shiloh got to do with this issue. Poster this is a serious issue, just go to for another scan and if no heartbeats by 10 weeks then it is indeed a missed abortion. Instead of wasting time holding on to this just get done with it and start attempting for another baby. The earlier the better

My dear sorry about it all.Its called anembryonic pregnancy. Summon courage and go have a D&C and start trying for another one immediately. It happened to me in Feb and I am still hopeful for a bfp this year. It can be painful but you must have courage,enjoy life with your husband. It will end in praise.

ReplyDeletePoster, a woman testified in Canaanland about a case similar to yours but hers was that she was menstruating all through the 9 months she was pregnant and Doctors said there was nothing in her womb but she kept holding on to God with a positive confession and when it was time for her baby to come out, the nurse still said there was no baby in her womb. She kept insisting that there is a baby in there until the nurse decided to check again and touched the head of a baby and the rest in history.

ok, I'm a total ignoramus inthe health world, but something similar happened to someone close to my fam. i wouldn't know how it ended, heard it's an evil projection by her so called pastor, she was desperate to become a mother and was visiting all sort of churches and temples, so they invoked (bolon bolo) balloon, into her system and she taught she was pregnant.she carried it for about 6 months. i pray that would never be your portion, just had to share the story. im much of a talker lately. ReplyDeleteHope for the best but keep your mind prepared. U might need an evacuation if still no baby at 11 weeks .
I am also pregnant at the moment, lost the first one at 6 weeks and was happy I bled it all out by myself and didnt need an evacuation.
I had a scare with this pregnancy at 6 weeks again but by 8 weeks they could see the fetal pole on the scan.
These early miscarriages are natures way of getting rid of abnormal pregnancies or babies; usually babies with chromosomal abnormalities so try and be optimistic.
And to let u know I got pregnant immediately after I saw the next period following the miscarriage. I do sympathise with u but Mayb being a doctor myself is making me quite realistic and factual
It's depressing I know but u av to be in the right frame of mind and body to get a healthy baby so cheer up if this one is not staying.

DeleteThank you! Poster this right here is what you are going through. You miscarried while bleeding. Its your body's way of rejecting a baby with chromosomal abnormalities. It happened to me,I kept holding on repeating scans every 2weeks still no fetal pole was seen. By the 11week,I was exhausted from pregnancy symptoms when there isnt any actual baby. So I opted for an evacuation. I have gotten pregnant twice since then with healthy babies. Dont listen to all these spiritual talk. Its hard but please go for an evacuation and prepare your body for a healthy pregnancy.

ReplyDeleteSame testimony happened at this years' Shiloh. I have equally seen people pregnant yet scan says no gestation whatever seen. I have even heard tales from friends that urine and blood equally showed negative. When God's hand is upon a thing, it makes it whole. God be with u dear

Wanna be Doctor this can't be ectopic. With ectopic the sac will not be in the uterus but with the baby wherever it is.

I understand you might be having emotional crises but even in no baby, believe there is a baby. DeleteIf the sac is closed, there may be a baby hiding there. Hold on till you are 15 weeks then go for an ultrasound. You can even go for a 3d scan to see how your baby looks like. There may be a baby hiding there. Don't remove it until you are sure there is nothing.
ReplyDeleteI know someone who had a missed abortion and they said she should come for evacuation. When she went there, the doctor said the sac is still closed but no heartbeat. She stood on her faith and waited till she was 16 weeks old and went for another scan. Lo and behold, there was a heartbeat. She eventually gave birth but i think the baby has some congenital issues.

i am a living testimony to this because i had such an experience with my second child i went for scan and was told the sac was empty even the doctors placed me on a date to evacuate but on god's accordance i decided to go for a second opinion from another hospital and the doctor requested for another scan which was done using a scan instrument like a stick which is inserted into the vagina and my dear ''what a wonderful sight i saw'' i saw my baby. And to God be the glory i carried that baby to full term.

ReplyDeleteMy dear if you have spotted heavily chances are there is a problem with the baby. It's Better to evacuate or miscarry cuz there most likely will be a problem with that child. Evacuation is painful and relax you will miscarry naturally But it may take time so if u can't wait,then evacuate. make sure it's done in a good hospital and after it don't worry you would take in again easily by God's grace. Also ensure while TTC you take folic acid It helps to prevent deformities and most importantly give it to God. It's a stage many women pass through before having healhy babies. Cheers.

ReplyDeleteMy dear, check another nice scan centre, it happened to me in my first preg. If u are in Abuja go to BodyCheck Scan centre b/4 the evacuation , for the gestation period to be increasing that means that is life inside the sac. Goodluck and ask God for divine intervention.
