      Hmmmm yes dey taste d mom's food. How come...(make I no yan rubbish)
      Som men even educated men stil don't appreciate dt dey owe d women male kids. Dey kip try n remarking. Shiorrrr!
      Sterile urine hehehe reminds me of wen my water broke for my 3rd baby. Come and see hubby acting nurse or doctor with gloves, and all trying to clean d area before we left for d hospital.
      Experienced 3 diff ways of labor to vaginal birth: *Show and Spontaneous Labor; *Induction wit inserted misoprostol; and *Membrane sweep, Show, Water breaking and Induction by oxytociin drip.
      Castor oil neva worked labor for me for 2 pregs. Dint even bother to take for d 3rd.
      God is marvelous. God sure pass man.
      Birth and Death are two events dt amazes/ baffles me.
      God is just too much. Weneva it's time to push, I just start thinking how awesome God is in His works. He does things dt no man can do. Doctors can't even explain it's originality.
      1 tiny sperm, 1 egg, forms blood, bones, flesh and all + Breathe of life all pass tru some kinda tunnel or cut open!
      I fear God.

    Thanks for sharing this, i used to be so scared of pregnancy and the pain mayb cos i heard the painful part of it and not the joy that comes with the child. but not anymore thank God ve succeeded in killing that fear. now i just cant wait to get married and have pretty babies like me. dreaming big with a lot of work on my desk to do.     please who has read that book supernatural childbirth by Jackie Mize. has anyone ever practiced it and it worked for them?
    I have faith o in the word.
    but childbirth with no pain or stitches just by strong faith?
    sometimes I wonder if the woman is telling the truth.
    does anyone have a similar testimony.
    am expecting baby number 2 and really want to try with faith

      I read supernatural childbirth and believed God for a painless delivery. However, I also practiced hypnotherapy for pain.I downloaded free versions online to my phone and from the 20th week of my pregnancy back then I listened to hypnotherapy everyday.
      I was induced which I heard is more painful, I just zoned out as the hypnotherapy for pain was already in my head. My doctor was telling me scream bla bla many women have screamed and cursed but I was silent, zoning out and only when I had dilated to 8cm that they saw tears running down my cheeks. 10cm when I was fully dilated and in serious pain I threw up like 2/3times. In 15mins with minor yelling and gisting with my hubby I gave birth. If your faith carries it great. In conclusion for me, its all in the mind and your threshold for pain. Hope this helps?

      Please instead of trying , just go and surrender to the doctors and the anaesthetics they woukd give you.
      If you want to act God's word , go to his word and eat it like food and build your faith.
      Also get that book and aggressively build your faith

    I really think this issue of man living wife because she didn't give birth to a boy should be seriously ironed out.men should know they determine the sex of the baby and not picking a second wife or keeping malice with the woman because she keeps giving birth to girls.

    Interesting fact.
    I also learnt when watching private practice that when a baby is aborted at a certain time, the baby actually feels the pain of his/her/its skull being crushed.

    the contractions after delivery part is scary..but I guess the joy makes all the pain worthwhile.

      For me, contraction afta delivery is more painful, from when ur tummy is palpated for removal of placenta n extra cloths or blood -to- when u breast feed. (most painful). Last for upto 1-2days for me. Kai! I fear to breastfeed afta birth. As u breastfeed, d uterus contracts, n it's taking back shapee n position.

    I know most of them apart from the first one...

    Another fact is that the baby recognises his mother's voice and sometimes, the person closest to his mother during her pregnancy, so when they start crying, they are the 2 most likely people that can calm the baby.

    More so, the first thing the baby learns is the mother's heartbeat.... added advantage... that's why nobody beats mom in the eyes of even her day old child.
