      Looking at this pics and what comes to mind is the common phrase we used whilst growing as kids.. "ojuju calabar will catch u".it must have been coined from the festival they usually have, I guess. Lol

      Nahh.. that's the costume na. I remember I used to be among the cultural dancers in pry school. I particularly liked being among the calabar dancers bcos of the dressing. I would cry if I wasn't chosen. I fancied that round thing they put round the waist...the hairstyle etc. And then edo dance was usually with white wrapper with chalk all over out faces. Chai nostalgia.
