It was indeed a night of Honour at the Alisa International Hotel, Accra Ghana on the 14th of November when the Advisory Board of the Prestigious Pan African Humanitarian awards decided to recognize and profile men and women, leaders and peace builders creating change at the grassroots to national levels in Africa and also people who have demonstrated kindness in building and supporting the less privilege in their community. The award winners are:
· CNN International (represented by Mr Tommy Evans- VP for Newsgathering, London) – Friends of Africa Award
· President John A Kufour ( Former Ghana President)– Lifetime Achievements Award
· H. E, Kadré Désiré OUEDRAOGO (ECOWAS President) – Peace Keeping Award
United states of America represented by US Embassy in Ghana – Friends of Africa Award
· Dr. Mike Omotosho (Nigeria)– award for Charity and Enterprise
· Mogho Naaba Baongo (Burkina Faso) -Monarch of the Year
· Dr. Donald Cog Senanu Agumenu (Ghana) Award for Leadership Excellence
· Stella Dimoko Korkus, (Nigeria) - Blogger of the Year Award
· Zemedeneh Negatu, (Ethiopia) - Entrepreneur of the Year
· Dr. Bright Echefu (Nigeria) – Young Achievers Award
· Monica Davies (Gambia) Most Promising Actress of the Year
· KENUJ Shower of Love Foundation (Nigeria) Most Promising NGO of the Year
· Rachel Bakam (Nigeria) Most Promising TV Personality of the Year
· Ameyaw Kissi Debrah, (Ghana) Social Media Personality of the Year Award
· Jalloh Mohammed (Sierra Leone) Young Achievers Award
· Isaac Balami (Nigeria)- Award for Community Building
· Prof John Ifediora (Nigeria) – Award for Academic Excellence
