Testimony Glorifying An Amazing God.

God can use anyone to give you a Miracle so big it sounds like a lie!

FEEDBACK ON A BLOG POST

Hello Stellakork, the woman with the heart of gold. Hope this meets you well. I am an ardent blog visitor still trapped in the anonymous mode (na God go help us...lol). Anyways, I have benefitted immensely from information on this blog and I only deem it proper to give back and help someone else. Here goes:

On 24th July 2015, you put up a testimony from a BV titled ‘PREGNANT THROUGH FALLOPIAN TUBE POST OF 2014 ON SDK BLOG'. The BV narrated how she contacted someone who dropped a number on the 2014 post and was referred to the midwife in PH, whom God used to bring about her miracle.

After reading the post, I went to meet the midwife. I had earlier been diagnosed of PCOS, had tried ovulation induction severally without success and had actively tried to conceive for 2 years. She examined me and aside the hormonal issues, she commented on the position of my cervix. I was to undertake treatment with her and she told me the cost (if you were coming with the mindset to meet a herbal woman and pay peanuts, you'd be shocked).

Luckily for me, money was not a problem. However, despite the BV's testimony, i felt I needed to seek direction from God as to whether to go ahead with it, to be sure of the spirit at work in her practice (so as not to go and indirectly shake devil). I started praying daily about it and asking God for direction, while still researching about ‘setting of womb' on the internet. The resources I gathered online kept pointing towards abdominal massage.

Infact, I found out it is being practised medically abroad in some countries and the reason being that the massage has been known to increase blood supply to the reproductive organs which has proven effective for some cases of infertility. All this while I kept praying for direction but heaven was silent until almost a month later and I got the go-ahead.

I had a dream and in that dream, I saw myself lying down with legs raised and spread like a woman about to give birth and the same midwife standing at the foot of the bed with an ointment in hand urging me to spread my leg and quit being afraid. Infact, that was when I knew that her method of ‘womb setting' was invasive as against what i had read online.

The way i dreamt of it was how it happened. Let me not bore BV's with the drama I displayed that day because I be original ‘fear-fear'. Afterwards, I started taking herbs from her. The good thing about her herbs is that if you can comfortably take stout, then you have nothing to worry about. It is not as bitter as stout (thank God because that aspect worried me to death, I am a sweet-tooth). If you know about PCOS, then you would know it causes irregular menstruation. We (midwife and I) were waiting for my period to commence so that she can place me on another herb immediately after the period and then we'll start counting down to know if I'd get lucky. Every time I came to meet her, she would ask me if it had come, I would reply in the negative.

She did pregnancy test for me which came out negative. I even went to a lab and took a blood test which still came out negative after which I took one drug which induces menstruation (I took it on my own, it used to be prescribed for me by my doctor to bring a period before we commence each session of ovulation induction).

The drug failed to bring a period as it normally did in the past. And so i returned to the midwife, told her what I had taken and how it had persisted and so we decided to take a more aggresive approach to it. She grinded uda (which is usually given to women who just put to bed to cleanse their system), she added some other grinded herbs and roots in a plastic bottle and gave me to go home and add ‘hot drink' to the mixture and take it. As I drove home, the Holy Spirit dropped it in my spirit to stop by a pharmacy and buy pregnancy test strips.

The thing about that test strip is that i had used them countlessly in the past, that I had convinced myself that it is only the digital one that works. Infact I had always imagined having a heavily pregnant friend, who I would request to pee in a container and I would put that strip inside and see if indeed there would be two lines. Well, i heeded the voice of the Holy Spirit and bought just two strips. Got home, pee'd in a soap container and dropped in the strip. Stella, the speed wey two lines take appear ehn...I almost poured the urine on myself. And so I jejely returned the midwife's mixture to her untouched. In all, I conceived within a month of commencing treatment with her (womb setting and herbs). I still take herbs from her (to guard against miscarriage) at no extra cost.

Least I forget, someone who also got her contact from the internet had gotten pregnant a month before me (meaning she commenced treatment immediately after that post. I believe she is a BV cos this is the only blog where I know the midwife's contact was displayed. Bayelsa BV, come and give back oo).

MY OBSERVATIONS/ADVICE

1. Ensure you have been properly diagnosed in a hospital and your husband has been certified ok (sperm count, morphology, mortility etc) because i noticed she didnt ask about my husband but just commenced treatment with me. She only mentioned I should share the herbs with my husband but ‘if im no gree drink, leave am'. I didnt even give him cos all his lab tests came back fine. There still would be no pregnancy if the man has an unsolved problem.

2. I had overheard from her mother who came visiting once, that she had a ‘calling' to do this job which was confirmed by their pastors and caused her to drop out of school

3. Please if you are contacting her, determine in your heart and in your actions not to swindle her of her money, because she will do you first. Why did I say so?

Once someone called her and told her ‘mummy i am still waiting o, nothing yet after my treatment', she inquired why she hasn't come back since nothing had happened, she also asked her name, the caller was reluctant to say. After the caller hung up, she brought out her book and used the callers number to trace her name...and she started laughing. Lo and behold the woman only paid 10% of the money and came for treatment. Knowing the woman wanted to dupe her, she directed her nurse to attend to the woman and strictly warned her ‘no touch the melicine wey i dey take set womb o'. The woman never came back to pay the balance.

Secondly, on the day I came to inform her of my positive pregnancy test and we were rejoicing, she turned to the woman that helps her give out herbs to patients and said ‘you see say all the people wey drink that foreign root, their own quick catch' and a lady there turned to her and said ‘mummy, na dat one you dey give me?' she told her point blank ‘your money no reach that one'. (Note: I was told by her nurse that the Bayelsa BV and I paid our money complete before we commenced treatment).

4. I heard they hold prayer sessions in her house, once a week and it has been said that people who can't afford the treatment have been blessed from the prayers. On one occasion I came to pick up my herbs, a lady I met there pointed to one young man and said he is a visiting prophet, I should pay and consult with him,  and in my mind I said ‘no be only consult, me sef na prophet'...bottomline: we all have our churches and have been praying about our barreness, please focus on what you went there for: TRADITIONAL MEDICINE (herbs).

5. If you are a christian, please get wisdom. On one of my visits to the midwife's house, I met my church member on her way out as I was going in, Stella, the way she behaved ehn..like someone that was caught leaving a shrine. Na wa o...the bible says 'my people perish for lack of knowledge' and that ‘wisdom is profitable to direct..' I would have proceeded for IVF, if this one didnt work. God heals, and He has given knowledge to Doctors and some others to treat. People should freely embrace medicine, it doesnt mean you want to ‘help God' cos I perceived she felt that way. Anytime, I remember her reaction, I cant stop laughing.

6. If you are having a hard time deciding whether to see her, pray about it. Do not consult a medical doctor to help you make up your mind. Dem no go encourage you to go there o (I can understand their position thou, they have seen some trado people wreck havoc). I have two siblings and one parent who are medical doctors and even after this testimony, they are still doubting the efficacy of traditional medicine (the apostle thomas no reach dem for doubt...lol)

7. In the original post, someone adviced the poster to be wary of PH midwives as they have been known to give people concotions which bloat their tummies, while telling them that they shouldn't go for scan as the baby can't be seen by ultrasound and they must deliver in their clinic. The poster replied that aside having a Master degree in Psychology and wasn't an illiterate, she doesnt live in PH and wouldn't be having her baby there. I just want to add to that too. I am also not delivering there. I have registered for ante-natal care in a hospital and have been scanned thrice (i always see the baby and the heartbeat doing tinkom, tinkom, tinkom)...lol. I would be entering second trimester soon.

8. Above all, involve God in it, HE is too faithful to fail! I constantly followed up with prayers in the course of treatment, telling God that I know that if he doesnt sanction it, the herbs will not work.

 Here is the midwife's contact: No. 20 Afikpo street, Mile 1, Port-Harcourt. 07084168789, 08140008819

Let me quickly add that aside Bayelsa BV and I, from my visits once a week there, people are getting testimonies regularly.

Stella, this post don too long. Please feel free to edit it and shorten it as you know BV's hate to read.

I am happy that you got your miracle...let us know when your baby is there.

    1. Thank God for you poster...

      Service was great.

Worship in thesame church with Prof. JERRY GANA. The man is so humble and loves music. So dramatic(he was illustrating with his hands and legs as he preached ). He walked up to me and gave me a handshake during the exchange of peace... Gave out his numbers to does who asked..

He said a lot when he preached but one thing he also said and want us all to have at the back of our mind is "FAITH IN GOD ,THAT IS ALL IT TAKES ".

He would be turning 70 years old in a few days time.
Stella i hope you would celebrate him in this blog..

    2. I also went there like the poster too she charged me 170 and only said she would take 150, truth be told wen she touched me, she said exactly what was wrong with me, but I have spent so much money in the hospital, that I couldn't afford that amount again, my cousin now introduced me to another woman in town in pH too, she said exactly what this first woman said was wrong with me and went a step ahead n said extra, her price was reasonable, so I started that one, am few weeks gone now, was even planning to send Stella my testimony but was waiting for awhile, if not for this post I wouldn't have gotten to this stage now, Stella your angel truly. Thank God I read that post that day cos I have really wasted money in hospitals with no result. Thank u Jesus for mine. Stella expect my testimony soon.

      Congrats.

My extremely detailed analysis was to help the next person make an informed decision. It is not my fault that I am naturally an observant person.

  15. Hmmmmm. Midwife, dropped put of school ( cos of her calling), treats with herbs, double hmmmm. Poster I just hope for your sake say your 'herbalist' never put spiritual pikin inside your womb. Sorry if I sound insensitive, but that's my opinion, everybody is entitled to theirs. Things are happening in this life. There is never really a short cut. Instead of you to pray and believe in God, you took matters into your hands, and went drinking herbal concoctions from a 'midwife'. Poster when your baby drops, please, and please take him/her to a pastor for deliverance. Na wa. It is well.

    ReplyDelete

    1. No you do not sound insensitive, you sound ignorant. By the grace of God, some of us can comfortably beat our chest and say we know who we are in CHRIST. Thanks for your concern but no body born of a woman neither any fallen angel can put anything inside my womb except what the LORD has put there. It might interest you to know that God has spoken to me concerning this child (sex and some other personal stuff). Hold your peace. Pls when next you take ill, do not take any 'chemical concotion', pray and believe God.

She narrated her 5th pregnancy had complications and was rushed to hospital for emergency CS. They refused to touch her till money was complete. Iphie, she is far from being old, she's middle aged.

  28. Spiritual Intelligence needed plss, I have been TTC for sometime now and last week I had a dream that I gave birth normally in the presences of my mum I even fed the baby , my breast milk came out full force which didn't happen during my first child.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. My dear giving Birth in the dream isn't good. That's probably what's responsible for your TTC. It means all the children you should be delivering physically, you are delivering it in your spirit realm where you have the husband.
How do I know? It used to happen to me. And I knew quite well I had spirit husband. It was when the stupid children started appearing to me in the dream and collecting things from me that I shined my eyes.
Go for deliverance. Breast feeding is even worse as virtues are coming out of you.

  36. These ijaw midwives that set the womb with special secret concoctions have been around... Are you sure there's no spiritual ish to it? This post sounds like an advert. To much information on the midwife. When people get healed the first person they forget is the health practitioner and remember their pastors and God.

    1. She is not Ijaw. I cannot speak for another person, as at the time she attended to me, the only spirit at work was the one I carry inside me. It is not an advert. It has too much information to help the next person make an informed decision. When people get healed, I don't know about remembering pastor, but of course they should return glory to God who alone is the healer.
