The senior pastor of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), Temitope Joshua has added to the growing number of individuals and organisations that have so far responded to the humanitarian calls of persons who have been internally displaced from their homes by terrorist group, Boko Haram.
Joshua, in response to request for help by the internally displaced persons
(IDPs) who are currently settled at a makeshift camp in Kuchingoro area of Abuja, donated to them a cheque of N10 million with which they are expected to offset their medical costs, as well as cost of educating their children whose education has been temporarily halted by the acts of the terrorists.
Also, Joshua pledged to deliver to the IDP camp, a medical ambulance for use in cases of emergency by the members of the IDP community.
Speaking through his representative, Taleb Tebite who made the donation recently in Abuja, Joshua stated that the intention of the church and its partners to help alleviate the difficulties of the IDPs in resettling away from their homes.
He noted that even though the camp could not be described as home to the IDPs, its conditions should be improved on to provide some level of comfort to them.
Joshua thus called on the government and good spirited individuals to help improve the situation at the camp.

DeleteHow about putting smiles on d faces of his members,my mum has been a member since 1996,wen d church was new....she served at d canteen department as a cook cuz she is a caterer, till 2012,and dey asked her and her team to step aside without any form of compensation 4 service rendered.
God go judge.
Does he teach lesbo in his chur? Ur daddy ko ur papa ni. *yinmu*
DeleteI avnt understood the theory of building schools members cant afford when its suppose to be building schools to help those who cant afford it!
DeleteGod bless him!
Anony,
Delete.has your mum complained to him one on one?..he is a very busy man that he might not be aware of some of the things going on in the church..there are people assigned to head all the departments in the church...
TB Joshua is the last person that will see a member of his congregation suffering and won't help...it's not possible...
This is someone that gives 10k transport fare to anyone that visit him...
Wonderful the only man of God I see who is not materialistic and who doesn't hold tight his hand,aA philanthropist,a gentle man and kind. Am not a member of his church and am not a fan of miracles avenue but I know a kind heart when I see one
ReplyDeleteI'm not a fan too but I admire what he does.
DeleteGbam!
DeleteGod bless him loads!
Wow!
ReplyDeleteMay God continue to bless him.
**Som Baby**
Good move
ReplyDeleteGod Bless His Soul...
ReplyDeleteThat's so good of him..
ReplyDelete2bad d money won't be used for its purpose rather some selected head/chiefs of them IDP wld use d "said" money for their selfish interest.
ReplyDeleteCos we'v heard such stories in da past
Is it just me or does any1 feel same...no matter what ds man does, cant bring myself to see him as a man of God
So your pastor or priest is the real man of God abi?...
DeleteIf TB Joshua is fake, that means yours is "fakest"...
So others branding as pastors using offerings to build school that members cannot afford are the real men of God right?
DeleteYou're no different from Islamic extremists coz you have been brainwashed.
That's why u are a lesbian and on cheap drugs... I totally understand ur plight, the demons(legion) in u will not make u like him

While T.B Joshua's healing methods may be shrouded in controversies, one can not take away the human face of his denomination. He makes up for all the unconventional claims by reaching out to charity. It's a noble cause. True religion should transcend the cosmetic show of selling mind candy to members who after the celebratory show in church return to their misery while the Pastors bask in pomp and pageantry.
ReplyDeleteBTW, I almost made church again!
The controversies are rumors spread by fellow indigenous pastors.
DeleteClap for yourself!!
DeleteWell said kehinde Ake!
Delete@ Mystique, kpa kpa, kpa kpa kpa! Myself!
Delete@ North Dakota, thanks. I got some old skool numbers for a nighttime playlist from the songs you have been throwing around. I wanna be an old soul too
Thank you AE prince...
DeleteI have been worshipping with SCOAN for years and I have not witnessed or seen those rumours spread around...
And someone will ask why we leave comments under Kehinde's thread
DeleteThis is why...
I don't care about the rumours or what powers he got...the fact that this man continually helps the poor is enough for me.
And for people that will say it is all for the media.. ya right, atleast those kids will eat.
If only every rich person will even give and blow the trumpet....we will have less poor people.
Howdy Kehinde?
Bloggers... Stella and co should make room for likes . 10000000likes for diz comment.where is Irene B

ReplyDeleteI'm so in Love with Tayan Taylor's comment.... He's a kind man and that's all that counts to me.
ReplyDeleteEven when I listen to his sermon, he preaches like a true man of God.... he does kind deeds, all these are walking in the light because he touches a lot of lives daily... I'm not his fan though cos I'm a full blooded Catholic but I'll pick him hundred times over ppl like oyedepo, oritsejafor and the likes.
God bless u. Amen.
