Smugglers Versus Customs Officers In Asaba!

Too many desperadoes trying to get rich quick and they dont even mind dying....

This is a BV eye witness report.

''This happened just now... I was on my way to work..  I and colleague decided to stop by the nnpc station along former deputy to get fuel.... From nowhere I saw this jeep driving recklessly and the guy was so scared

The next thing I heard was gun shot.. The guy ran out and abandoned the car

. That's how I jumped out too. Cos I was scared of the guy ramping into us.. I thought  thieves were after him.. The next thing I saw were custom officers... Heard the  guys were smugglers and had shot one officer... The tyres of the car was deflated.. The annoying thing was the way there were shooting at the Jeep.. They didn't even aim..what if somebody had been hit.. That is the Jeep...  sorry for the typos still shaking..''

  7. It is a normal thing in Lagos and Ogun state nau. The smugglers to an extent could be term a breed of Armed Robbers. For the way they carry and brandish arms like art works. As for the customs, how many went through the serious rigors of shooting lessons? It is the sorry state of our forces. Aimless shooting, dashing out stray-bullets. God help us all....
