DeleteThe worst song remix I've ever heard in my entire life. An agadi na-agwo ofe disgracing himself; where's his wife?
Why would Saint Obi just fool himself like this now! The singing is appalling. Then the ladies in the back ground pretending to be playing instruments they clearly know nothing about and you can't even hear in the music. Men he should stick to acting!!
DeleteWhich Igbo this guy smoke sing this song?😳😳
DeleteThe truth be say I no go laff. I like d msg,but not d melody. Anybody Wey get mind do ur own cover. CB
DeleteIt started like afro beat midway it turned to slow reggae. LMAO....terrible.
DeleteStella is baddest. Oh my God
DeleteStella this song is better than all the squares, wizards and ice block and DVD and I hangs put together. Dj
DeleteI think this is better than his acting career though, never liked his acting, he always appeared too fake in his roles, I hate his dress sence too but the way he put this music together is better than both. If he gets a good music instructor, he could do better....loved d lyrics
Delete@samira hall, he smoked Oshogbo weed! Lmao
DeleteNot knocking a man's hustle down. I hope he got copyright permission for taking this tune from John Lennon's imagine. I would have appreciated it if he went with our local traditional beats.

ReplyDeleteHonestly commenting with my church mind, this song is not bad. His voice is not bad too. I think the lyrics are not smooth and coordinated enough but the message was well understood. I grade him 65%.
DeleteThis is my humble submission.
I watched the first 38sec.

ReplyDeleteExcuse You Ma!!!
ReplyDeleteI see no reason in your call out, do you now choose careers/ ambition for people???
I watched this video to the end, its not the conventional Nigerian music of today, but the lyrics is everything, imagine Nigeria without all these vices he mentioned, imagine a sustainable Nigeria, that's what we all are praying for.
Bless you. But no he should give up singing, there are other ways he can impact the country/people. He's voice isn't cut out for music is what Stella is trying to say. Love you pipi Lee baby
DeleteHahaha @ excuse me ma, you guys won't kill me on this blog.
DeleteWhirlwind
Gbam!!!
DeleteThank you!!! No need to type plenty comment again. I was just nodding as he was saying those words.
DeleteIf only the world would be at peace, if only...
He probably didn't meat y'all music expection but this is beautiful. I enjoyed listening to it.
You can even see the yearn and wish in his 'covered' eyes. Reminded me of Sunny Okosun
Hello Pipi, its me. Lol! I was wondering if u can imagine urself paying to attend his "version of imagine" concert. Imagine this uncle @44 starting a music carrier with zero talent in singing- imagine seeing our erstwhile nollywood finest boy disgracing himself on stage.
DeleteJust Negodu,...
Or how u tek see am?
Lmao @ Charismatic Diva
DeleteI'm in California imagining it.
Whirlwind... Lmao...na my Saint Obi Stella dey try disgrace for public so .

Instead make dem just dey shine teeth for corner, dey go com disgrace themselves with some froggy voice nonsense they call music.. His acting sef is wacked .. Na the fact say he dey tie wristwatch for right hand I been like.. Yeye dey smell

ReplyDeleteExactly! What kind of joke is that St Obi? But Stella shebii you were praising it the other day?
ReplyDeleteHe cannot return the the movie place o,younger actors have taken over ,leave those their stories of I don't do asaba movies, they are not wanted there .he is a good actor !
ReplyDeleteLol! Stella u funny die. U are a good person/friend. It's a a good person/friend that'll tell u d bitter truth no matter what. Carry go
ReplyDeleteGreat lyrics and good intent but the auto tune no be here, twas very unprofessional but who knows, might just b a hobby. I'd rather he invested in a voice coach. Everyone must not sing na. You tried listening till the end,I couldn't.Twas disturbing my head.
ReplyDeleteSaint Obi is now a musician???
ReplyDeleteOh my days...
Nollywood hunk in those days
I don't understand!!! You praised him vehemently in your older post.. http://www.stelladimokokorkus.com/2015/11/saint-obi-is-year-older-today-and-now.html?m=1

ReplyDeleteHehehehe! Saint Obi, the badt guys. Lol. He used to be a great actor o. Maybe this single is a form of acting too. Sterrastical, imagine the ear pollution. LMAO
ReplyDeleteOh Saint, don't do this please. Invest your time and money in something else. Music is a definite No for you. I'm in shock at this of your stupidity. Music Is not for everyone. I know I can't sing to save my life, so I know not to try even though I'm a lover of music. Saint don't do this ever again and that to be continued written at the end should never continue. Concerned fan..
ReplyDeleteIs this a joke or what?

But why Saint Obi? in Igbo, Maka why Obim? Haba!
ReplyDeletekwakwakwakwa! I laugh like Turkey. Stella, u want him to go and be playing the roles of a village baba in Nollywood?
ReplyDeletelol! the message is simple though the composition needs some improvement.... not a bad one anyway
ReplyDeleteThey wont pay him well in Nollywood cos he is outdated now, if he becomes a musician, he might get endorsement deals. Kwakwakwakwakwakwa **laughinglikeaturkey**
ReplyDeleteWhy would saint obi want to do this now.
ReplyDelete*Struggling within* should I listen, no don't listen. Everybody wants to sang a sing. Lmao! Stella let him sing ooo

Yeah right.....e'gwu di egwu. Dem talk say music na life but in this track nitoru olorun, wetin i see na darkness.
And Vic O taking the Rap...

Stella no wonder these people do not like u..see how u just tell am straight and blunt...
ReplyDeleteBut seriously who encouraged him to sing?
Abeg he tried joh..I really enjoyed the message in the song
ReplyDeleteSaint obi you are surely a dreamer. What the heck is that??????
ReplyDeleteVery nice
ReplyDeleteImagine what I wasted my data listening to. Imagine ara okenye (old person's madness) lol
ReplyDeleteAdvice to Saint Obi: Pls don't try this again, if it's a joke stop it!

ReplyDeleteBy the time he starts making the money na, you people will be saying Imagine Saint Obi? well personally I will say he tried, as time goes on he will improve and mind you nothing is ever late to start...all the famous Musicians we have today go back to their first album and conclude.
ReplyDeleteLmaoooo. Choi Stella
ReplyDeleteWhere is xp
ReplyDeleteListening to him makes me appreciate Don jazzys voice wallahi.
ReplyDeleteNo please stop!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is bad..common!
Fantastic song n video… people who critique it negatively are either rhythm dead or visually impaired. this video is classy, message on point but above all, he gave credit to d owner of the song, John Lenon.
ReplyDeleteWhats wrong with all these follow follow BV'S? Coz Stella holds the notion that he sang horribly, does that mean everyone should second her thought?
ReplyDeleteI don't think he did badly at all...infact, I loved the slow tranquil reggae beat to it. Good highly meaningful lyrics, very okay voice(not great tho), lovely melody. #dropsMic
But he has a good voice though.
ReplyDeleteignorance is d worst disease anyone can suffer from. Saint Obi is one of d biggest boys in 9JA. I know this video n song is meant to support UNICEF and global peace. get ur facts rights before running ur big false mouth
ReplyDeleteFantastic song n video… people who critique it negatively are either rhythm dead or visually impaired. this video is classy, message on point but above all, he gave credit to d owner of the song, John Lenon.
ReplyDeleteMaybe it is not perfect but this is the first Nigerian song I have ever heard convey a message. All the others you praise really sing rubbish while trying to emulate trashy American rapsters you can barely make a reasonable word from what they vomit and I am talking about the P squares and Davidos of this world you worship. Stella you are not the best blogger in the world or Nigeria for that matter but nobody pulls you down even when some think you don't deserve the awards you win. We all have a responsibility to let people live their dreams. If you don't believe in them walk away without tearing them down.
ReplyDeleteThe song would have been a dope song if he had featured Vic O. It is only God that will judge Saint Obi for this Global warming he has caused
ReplyDelete#TheMeaningHasNotChanged
It was not that bad jor..I enjoyed it. It was smooth...a bit disconcerting watching an older saint obi but not distracting from the upbeat hopeful tone of the song.Besides the world has changed- anyone can start anything new at any f-ing time. "Na when you wake up be your own morin". Ask the folks who learn productive new skills at age 60.
ReplyDelete*All I do is Win!*
This song made my day. I used to think that my life is rough. I don see person wey Im life go rough pass mine if he reads all the comments.
ReplyDeleteI kept an open mind listening to this and kept saying to myself "not so bad , nice message" until the end when he started vibrating like God knows what.... Saint Obi what da frigging hell was happening to you there???
ReplyDeleteAbeg Wetin be dis, has he also lost his dress sense
ReplyDeleteI like the message of the song. But don't seem to see this existing at all. #Sad face#
ReplyDeleteNot bad at all,he jus needs a good producer,Stella the most successful people in history were told they cldnt do it by nosyparkers like u,once don jazzy signs him up u will change ur tune, lol
ReplyDelete
