Well I am a man and married for more than a decade and I consider this "rude boy's" post selfish and immature. Marriage is a "two in one" thing. You treat each other with mutual respect and care. The husband who thinks that his duty is just to "provide money" is the type that bullies! I learnt the "character of love" from the scriptures; love is patient, kind, does not seek its own etc. The square rude boy is seeking his own here and it is not Love!

  51. OliviaSilk, we are on the same page. I ain't doing any wifely duty for no man who isn't my bf. I don't even care about my age, I swear. Anyone can say whatever they want to say, it's their mouth. I have 2 elder brothers. One is even married to an Igbo lady and the moment Uloma (that's her name) secured a job, my brother employed someone who comes at weekends to do the chores and leave. So, because he has a wife, he should now stress when she's already stressed at work? I'm not mouthing, but I thank God for my brothers, they are real men. When my dad was alive, he used to sweep and most of the time, he doesn't allow my mum to do chores. Why you may ask me? My mum birthed all her children via CS and also had a major surgery when I was in secondary school. Asides from cooking, every other chore was handled by us or someone else. Treat your wife right and she would become an angel. Treat her wrong and she would become an angle through which your life will become a living hell. Love, respect and faithfulness is reciprocal.

  56. When you are a good man you get treated right and if you don't it is because you did not pick right. Ladies, take it from a married man of 6 years, I started marriage with this childish mentality. My wife was miserable but she obliged me. I woke up when I saw my sweet wife looking like used goods. Hagard and worn out bedside I expected but never helped her. I saw my mother she quickly because my father was a tyrant and didn't think she had any other purpose than to do for him all the time. The day God opened my eyes to see what I was doing I stopped begged my wife and started looking at my marriage as it ought to be. Christ said husbands love as Christ loves the Church. Ever since I started down this path, my already dedicated wife has tripled her dedication and she looks fresher. I got my friend back. Heads who can take care of their women but can be requesting and bossing her around are just weaklings.

  61. Typical Nigerian man; still baby sitting them even when they are grown men. How on earth in this century a grown man would treat his wife like slave-marriage is about two people buildings and taking care of their home not other way round/bullying and using her as your maid. Iam a Nigerian married for 7years with two kids- I do all help my wife with house chores; taking care of my kids, dropping and picking them up at school, we are both working and always trying to meet each other half-way, which our relationship less stress, creating more time for our romance and sexlife.. Psquare sounded like those fat belly, bullies kind Nijja men, like our fathers, uncles and brothers who treats our mothers; sister like slaves. I don't agreed with him..

  62. It's not about what era we are in or if we are single or married its all about common sense. A guy who cannot afford a washing machine should humble himself to treat the lady washing his clothes like a queen becos if she stops you will have to do it yourself so be wise. A woman that is humble enough to do all of that in the real sense of it should be shown love in ways she can't comprehend till you can afford the finest things for her because a woman like that will help ur self esteem when u r down and because you want to you to give her the best in return you will work twice as hard and in the process achieve alot in the shortest possible time which is a win win situation for any guy.#motivatingfactor
