I'm an ardent reader of your blog and I must say you are doing a great job. I don't know where this will fall but I want to share my experience and maybe it would help someone. Please keep my ID private.

Growing up, my mum will never talk about sex. The only thing I knew about it was "if you let a man touch you, you will get pregnant" in her exact words. I started seeing my period in Jss1 and I would have been clueless if the proprietress of my school didn't educate us about periods. In Jss2 I noticed that I didn't see my period, I was distraught. I became depressed, my grades slacked , I was basically a shadow of myself. I thought I was pregnant but at that point , I had never even kissed a boy. 

The only consolation I got was from a senior student. It was a terrible period of my life, I wasn't informed that irregular period is a normal thing and that it will stabilize later.

Can you imagine I didn't know what sex was until I was 17(when someone forcefully slept with me) I cried and told him I didn't like what he did and that I don't want to have sex. That's was when the bomb was dropped , he said "but you just had sex now".

No girl should find out about sex that way.

Even when I noticed that I started developing breasts, I would wear bras to sleep, I was trying to stop them from growing because I felt embarrassed.

Mothers please make sure you educate your children especially female about sex and other issues because whether you tell them or not ,they will eventually find out and you don't want it to be the wrong way.

MEMO FROM BV KEVIN HAPPINESS..HE'S A NEW LEAF!

Stella Good day. it has been a while. Sorry about my unexpected absence amidst trying to clean up my ordeals then.  My phone got bad and I also misplaced my gmail details. So I had to get another one ,until I retrieve the line i used in opening the first. I want to say thank you and use this medium to show my appreciation for your efforts in trying to help me. Mom was able to pay my fees though it came late,  but I knew I had to read hard should incase I'm being disturbed about not having schoolID yet

.But i thank God i wasn't even disturbed. I've finished ND1 and we are currently on holiday, I just pray I don't experience this setback in ND2 thats my only worry. Well am using my holiday judiciously cus am working at a firm close to my residence. I might not be consistent as usual cos my course is very demanding.its OTM(office tech/management and  shorthand/typewriting are inclusive but i’ll always make out time to be here now that am free at least to socialize.

There's peace within me, cos honesty brings no pain.

If I hide under the disguise of not wanting you to publish or not

wanting people to know I asked and begged for favour, it means

pretence and shows how unrepentant I am. Stella for me these days

there's dignity in whatever I do. 

I am happy about turning a new leaf it has groomed me to be better. No one should be ashamed, shy or embarrassed of being real and honest.

Hi Stella,

The Lord is your Strength. On the 2^nd of Nov 2015, a security man brought a lady to our office and said that the woman is looking for a place to notarize her documents. I asked her to meet the secretary.

The woman and our secretary started chatting; our secretary told her she is from ikom in Cross River State, the woman said, Wow, what a coincidence? We are from the same village. The secretary assessed the documents and told her that she is supposed to pay Ten Thousand Naira but because they are from the same village, she will pay five thousand Naira. The woman thanked her and asked her to go ahead and notarize the documents.

After notarization, the woman asked our secretary for her account details so that she can transfer the money. She gave the woman her account details and after some minutes, the woman said, she is finding it difficult to transfer the money, so she decided to go out and try, our secretary followed her. 

This woman drives jeep. She told our secretary that she couldn’t transfer the money but will keep trying, with that she took the documents and left. Our secretary did not ask for her numbers because she trusted her. This woman did not transfer the money and she did not bring cash to the office.

PLEASE READ THIS AND SHINYA YA EYES

Hi, Stella. I experienced this, early Saturday morning 28.11.2015, along Ijegun Jakande Gate Road. I like to keep fit and because my work does not give me enough time to work out, so i jog some km every Saturday and Sunday morning.

so this morning, i have even jogged to my destination, it was on my way back that it happened. I had run pass this guy, not too long then he tried to jog beside me and chat me up but i did not answer him, he started slacking back when he realized i was not going to reply him. 

Then all of a sudden Stella, na so the guy grab me from back o! hian! I fought him off, pushed him away from me, then i aim a kick for his groin but unfortunately, my kick no reach the target, just his upper thigh (that pain me sha cos i for like make he carry swollen balls go house). Na so the guy jump back, come shout "Ahnahn, na fight?" and i replied him "Come try am again na, you bastard" na so i continue my run o, still dey look back small small.

I am sure the guy wasn't expecting me to fight him off the way i did because of my small stature. He would have probably felt like "dis 1 go be easy"

And to think all this happened around 6am, and on an express road too. The idiot waited for the road to be isolated before he made his move. I hear of girls getting raped while they jog on the road, and it almost happened to me! when i got home i couldn't even share it because i know my family will ban me from jogging ever again, seeing as i am the only girl and the last in the family, they tend to be overprotective.

If we have joggers like me in the house, especially females, please, be VERY CAUTIOUS AND WATCHFUL while you jog o, those psychopath are very real.
