    3. It's true. They scammed us, I noticed yesterday. I kept checking to know when the discount will happen but nothing happened. They don't even know the meaning of black Friday.
What jumia did was increase prices of their products 3days ago. We were talking about it at work. Someone even said that they will bring it back to the normal price on Friday and claim black Friday, to our utmost surprises, jumia didn't dissappoint.

    4. Same thing wit dealdey. Though just few of their items were actually sold on discount but what they did was to inflate the original price of an item them put a fake discount rate. For instance a bought a scale for about 2500 few months back and for yeaterday they increased the price of the scale to about 4500 and gave about 40%(not too sure) discount which is about 2400 and they tell u it's a Black Friday deal. There is no need to copy the western people if we r not ready for it.

    5. I thought I was the only one that noticed it, dey only reduced 1k frm dere products and dey said it was black Friday. Me self I would shop on d day of delivery I wud let d guy come and make him take dem back.

    6. I shopped on Konga on d first Yakata day -thursday. I got a 32inch Samsung SMART Tv, Samsung 230Ltrs fridge, Stabilizer, blender, oven, cooker, pressing iron and toaster for less than 90k. Not as cheap as I thought a black friday sale would be but definitely cheaper than the shops I had visited so not bad for me

    7. Update - the delivery just came and guess what? Konga got my items wrong. I ordered for Samsung products and Konga gave me Polystar. WTF????! Now joining the bandwagon of disbelievers in online shopping

    8. Stopped ordering from them when they sent me ABA made of what I thought was original stuff..

    9. Jumia was a big scan, they couldnt even do t0%. Hisss. I bought two ACs from Konga, at an ok price, not fantastic, only 1 has been shipped, i hope the 2nd one sold by konga will not be cancelled. E go pain me

    10. Ordered for six items on Konga and to my shock I was charged #1250 for each item even though they were all in the cart and I ordered for all at once. Didn't even realised till this morning while praying and the spirit whispered to me. Wondered why I was charged that much till I came to the realization that I was charged for each item, mtscheww. Sharp sharp I sent them a mail cancelling the order. Yakata sales was awesome last year, this year e really fall hand

    11. Adunnni, Adunnni, Adunnni! So you expected to get all that, Samsung product for that matter at 90k. You are greedy.

      Delete
    12. @Cheryl, the reason is that you actually bought the items from different sellers. Though same Konga, there are various sellers on the platform, and they ship the items most times differently. That is why shipping fees on Konga is kinda high. Jumia too has a lot of sellers on their platform, but I don't know how they do it that their shipping fee isn't always on the high side.

      Delete
    13. @Abiola this isn't my first time shopping on Konga. Have ordered for several items at once and was charged just 1k for all the them. This system is new.

      Delete
    14. @meemee, shuo is it me that sent them to do Black Friday. They advertised the items and put the price tags there. What is my own? Every naira saved is a naira gained ooo. If they cannot sell the items at that price, why advertise it? The delivery guy was now telling me to manage d Polystar. Oshisco

      Delete
    15. @ Adunni u bought all that for only 90k, and u are complaining, here in the US all that would cost more than 90k equivalent even on the said black friday.

  15. Smh for people. I know on good authority that what Jumia sold at that price were not fake but just that they were very limited stock and for just the fastest of the fastest (I mean the flash sales where u get 50% off) . I was also complaining that I couldn't clinch the phone I wanted to until a friend of mine showed me proof that he actually got two infinix hot (originally 17900) @8,900 each, I can show proof if requested sef. Scanfrost cooker went for 24k etc. I know they didn't really live up to the hype but they did way better than other ppl claiming black Friday but it's just these Nigerians with their unrealistic love for awoof, we wouldn't be complaining this much. Anyways they shouldn't do it again abeg, the stress that comes with it is too much stress. Imagine waking up every hr of the midnight. Lol. Slept by 3am because of black Friday.

Congrats to the few lucky ppl that clinched d flash sales, I envy u guys

  32. Funny enough, I shop with Konga and I bought all Konga itself sold...very cheap! I mean cheap. For instance, one eyeshadow that goes for 14k (62 dollars abroad), was sold for 1.500.... kaygee lip gloss that sells for 3k was sold for 1400... etc...so, I got great deals yesterday.
However, I sell products too and I can say that most vendors on these platforms are just too greedy!
