FEEDBACK ON CHILD PROSTITUTION POST IN LAST WEEKS IHN

Salutations to Mrs Korks and fellow BVs. This is the teacher that sent a mail about her pupil engaging in what I call "child prostitution" This mail is to inform you guys on how far I have gone.

I asked her to call her sister but she refused (probably because she thinks I will sell her out) so after much wait,I secretly looked for other pupils who knew her and sent for her through them.

The young lady came yesterday Morning only for me to find out she is her step mum. The lady was very friendly and showed concern about the girl's welfare even my other colleagues saw this too ( I told my colleagues but asked them not to confront) so we spoke with this her step mum and she told us she personally brought this girl from the village 5years ago when she saw the girl was wasting away without attending school or learning a trade. 

She said she had always noticed that this my pupil does not eat at home most times and also,neighbours told her that the girl was always buying stuff for herself and,they caught her having sex with a guy in the gutter one night. She said the girl is so scared of her dad so,she(my pupil) doesnt tell her things for the fear of the step mum telling the father.


According to her,she's not stopping her from having boyfriend as the said girl is 18 yrs old even her younger siblings are out of secondary school while she is still in primary 4. The only thing her step mum wants now is for her to know the boy(s) sleeping  with her in case she gets pregnant as she(the step mum) doesn't even knew when the girl sees her period monthly. She begged me to make her tell the names of the boys . 

we the teachers begged her not to inform her dad yet and also not scare her when she gets home so the girl will still have that trust in me.

So during break I called her aside and she told me one of the guys has a girl friend,(the one that slept with her in the gutter at night. The gutter is this very wide one that is a big drainage . those in Benin knows this water storm project gutter)he lives near our school but she doesn't know his name.

She told me the other guy's name and said he's a mechanic apprentice I told her to try and collect their phone numbers.

So what should be our next step??? Should I just leave the matter to her step mum and dad to handle?because her step mum said she can't accommodate her any longer and as such,she's sending her back to the village because if she becomes pregnant, she(her step mum will be blamed. According to her,"if I know say she don spoil like this I for no put my hand carry her come Benin I tink say na help I de but Angela don too spoil even before she come people tell me but I no hear, Even her mama never carry phone call her one day since five years. Na me one come carry the curse? She no go follow us do December I go take her go village"

WOW...she is already 18years old?Hmmm she looks really tough,like someone life has dealt a tough blow.I wish i could post her pic here but i cant ,not even becos you say so but becos of the circumstances of the story.
Taking her back to her mum might not help matters but at this point of the risk of pregnancy and others,it is the most advisable thing to do.

This girl has a long journey to recovery and the patience,time and money of whoever will want to rehabilitate her.BV why dont you take her in?lol

Good day Stella nwanyi oma.I started reading this blog late last year and God bless you for blessing others.I comment as anonymous oo.

    This epistle am about to write goes a long way in telling us that these things do happen.I thought it happens only in nollywood,till my friend alerted.Let me start by making it clear to all that we graduated from secondary school just this year.It's only normal that you exchange contacts before you finally part ways. 

So the relationship between this two is the bonky thing.Those that attended secondary school in Nigeria are conversant with the term "bonky".

      Now the main character happens to be a verrrry good friend of mine.And of course she decided to hi her bonky via watsapp.According to her initially she did she a man as the profile pic but who cares after all these days people fit put monkey as dp.lolzz.so bring your popcorn now.And the chat began.I will name the main character chioma and the bonky stella.lol Stella manage."Stella Stella how far now".you know the way you will approach an old friend now.This is not word for word o but the reply was like "what are you talking about"and she replied "Stella stop this joke jare"and another reply"For your information, I Mr ****** father of Stella"at that moment you will feel stupid now and apologise and naturally that should be the end.

                    The next day,as jobless as we uni home students are,she switched on her data and saw "Good morning dear"in respect she take reply am o.and from there he started asking for the relationship between Stella and herself,to her age and they started getting really chatty.I understand its chioma's mistake somehow too.But he seemed good because he even asked her for her choice universities and told her how he would have helped her secure admission if she had put unn.

over the weeks from "good morning dear to good morning my angel".Then one faithful day,Mr *****asked for her picture.she carry respect send am and he  requested for more and she sent more not a hyperbole my friend is very fair and tooo cute and fair girls are attractive naturally now.Mr ***** started,your so beautiful, I hope you have a good boyfriend taking care of you.when she told me this one my pupil just dilated.and of she replied no sir.I wonder why she made the of not blocking him there and then.

             Guess what!Mr ***** does not let his own daughter put on earrings or try rubbish o.So just imagine.She started snubbing him on watsapp till one faithful day he called and she picked. He started asking why she has not been replying not in harsh voice as she said.After that few pleasantries and they started chatting normal again.The next shock came.He invited her out on a Sunday evening to come and dine with him and his friends whom am sure are equally cheating on there wives with younger ladies whom they will surely be spoiling with money and am proud to say money is not chiomas problem,she's from a well off home and being the only girl for long,they don't mess with her.If she really wanted anything from him all she would have done is get her father's driver to drop her.I can tell you she is very well mannered.

This man should be over 35 years older than she is and shameless to want to have anything like this with your daughter's classmate.He even told her the little get together will be fun as he will be leaving soon to go back to where he is based.He does not live in the same state with the wife and kids.Very wealthy too.

                      *Long silence*then my friend had erased him off her memory when he called on another faithful day and she purposely missed the call.He started texting again.Asking of home address or anywhere its safe for them to flex abit because he was coming in to see his beloved family.She politely turned this one down again and be called probably to know why and she has refused to either pick or reply.My friend is already fed up and its annoying.

If it were Stella's senior brother who is single o then its alright but father mbannnnu its highly abominable and should never be heard of.My friend now said she doesn't want to block him,that would be mean but rather she's waiting for the next rubbish he will say so she will say it upfront that what he is doing is so wrong and even now Stella got her contact somehow she really does not want to have any strings attached to her after all this drama.It will be drastic if she ever found out.Stella has even told her openly and apologised for giving the dads contact reason being because she got a new sim and didn't know the number too.

We have both prevaricated trying to ask Stella to know if she has the slightest idea.The worst of all will happen if Stella suddenly goes through daddy's gallery and finds her bonkys picture inside watsaapp images,am Stella being a rough kind will chioma forgetting her dad is involved.The deed has been done. And who knows chioma could win a soul for Jesus.#lol.Men can be very shameless*signs out*sorry if I bored you with this long epistle and sorry for typographical errors but am shocked this thing happens in our society.Stay blessed SDKers.
