EFCC Chairman Ibrahim Lamorde SACKED!

Ibrahim Magu, a top level official of the Economic and Governance Unit of the EFCC, has been elevated to the position of chairman of the commission.

LAMORDE

This follows the removal today by the government of Ibrahim Lamorde, who had held that position since 2011.

Magu is remembered as a no-nonsense investigator of the commission at its inception.  He was removed along with several other key officials by Farida Waziri when she became chairman in 2008.

  15. I think now this government is ready to start delivering on the Promises made. The man that was bought over by the last regime suddenly remembered how its necessary for that office to be watch dog for reckless thieves.
