      Lool. How many Nigerians are worth billions of dollars before they turn 23?? He Was born 1949 and by 1989 he was worth over 50 billion dollars. This is what they were able to calculate. Now some of the money he hid was never found. They are still finding some up till now.       Anon, Escobar was rightly born in 1949, by 1989 and he was actually 40yrs not 23 (At 23 he was a small time criminal with partner Oscar Bernal selling contraband cigarette, and fake lottery tickets etc) he was worth $25B and that was his peak (never $50B)

      Bro ur fact about Escobar and the 2million burnt money isn't correct, Escobar burnt that cash while trying to escape from govt forces on the mountains of Medellin, he did this because his daughter had hypothermia and it was risky for her to have fallen asleep in the cold mountains in that condition (he spent $2500 a month on rubber band to tie up wads of cash, and lost $1.5m every year to rats eating packed money)

      Alex you are right. He didn't do it because he needed to burn off cash. He did it because of his daughters condition.

      Escobar hid money on the ground and had his brother who was then an accountant map of where it was buried. He didn't need to burn it

      Iphiey, he had so much cash but didn't need to burn them. His brother was an accountant so he was able to hide his money well for him during that time. He always had millions of dollars available in cash at home or with him any where. But the rest are either buried in one location or the other. The brother will just map out where it was buried in a map.
