PULMONARY HYPERTENSION
Good morning Stella. I hope this mail meets you well. I am a fan of you and your blog and I have benefited in many ways. God bless us all.
My issue is this : I am a 31yrs old mother of 2 and I was recently diagnosed with pulmonary hypertension. I googled it and to be honest it doesn't sound nice. I learnt its not curable but can only be managed.
Please I need advise on how best to manage the situation as per good drugs (though the doctor gave me some drugs: vasoprin, lisinopril and atorvastatin) and meal plan that could also be of help.
I will also appreciate if somebody can recommend a very good cardiologist for me in Portharcourt so that I can also seek an expert opinion (because the doctor seeing presently is not a cardiologist). I will be very glad if I get responses. Thanks.
The Lord is your strength my dear...

ReplyDeleteYou didn't say the type / group of pulmonary hypertension you have.
ReplyDeleteI guess you weren't told seeing as you didn't meet a cardiologist?
It can be managed, though some people undergo surgery depending on the severity or type.
Hopefully, you'll get the name of a cardiologist on here.
You need to meet one,to be properly informed.
God is your healer.

ReplyDeletePlease do not advise her not to take the drugs. Vasosprin is aspirin and she needs it. Lisinopril is a blood pressure medicine and needs to be taken to control the blood pressure to avoid putting more on the arteries leading to your lungs. Atorvastatin Is to help lower your cholesterol and you probably need it. So how did he make the diagnosis and what kind of symptoms did u present? Limit your salt intake, and fats. Find a cardiologist ASAP. You will need what is called an echocardiogram and possibly a chest xray

ReplyDeletenatt nathaniel what stops her from taking her drugs and also looking to Jesus? Is it not God that gave man the ability to make drugs and cure illnesses? Why don't you take your eyes off blogs, face Jesus and stop giving people bad advice. Shebi it is b/c it is not your mother you want her to take her drugs. If she dies all you will have to offer is "May her soul rest in peace".
ReplyDeleteFool!!!!
Poster please take your drugs. They are made for a reason. Look for Nutri V (pink). It's 30 pieces in a pack. An antioxidant rich in selenium which reduces element causing hbp.
