Ben Bruce Laments ''Buhari is Helpless We Are Tired Of His Complains..''

The senator representing Bayelsa East Senatorial District, Ben Murray Bruce, has stated that President Muhammadu Buhari’s body language shows that he’s helpless.

The president had constantly blamed the sorry state of the economy on the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), saying that he inherited a battered economy from the former ruling party.

“The government is broke; there is no money. This country was materially and morally vandalised,” he told journalists at a press conference in New Delhi, India.

Reacting to Buhari’s submission, Bruce, a member of the PDP said the President must take responsibility and devise strategies geared towards transforming the country.

“You can only blame your predecessor for your problems for so long. After six months, so long becomes too long!” he wrote on Twitter.
“Six months is one-eighth of a four-year tenure. If you are still blaming your predecessor after six months, when are you going to ever deliver the goods?
“Blaming others is a sign of helplessness. A ‘numero uno’ should not blame. He must take responsibility for leading us out of troubled waters.

“Those who advise Buhari to make hay while the sun shines are his friends. It is unwise to make blame while the sun shines,” he said.
“Go ahead and attack me, I don’t mind. I am not the president or a governor. I’m just a Nigerian who loves Buhari enough to tell him the truth!

“Those who insult and call us enemies for advising the president and governors to focus on delivering results instead of blaming don’t love Nigeria,” he tweeted.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion Mr Bruce and anyone who insults you for saying your piece of mind is a a**hole.

I think buhari is being misled by those thieves he kepts as advisers.
It's been 6months and counting and i can't pinpoint anything buharis led govt has done other than their wild goose chase through d Efcc.

Having said d above though,i still believe in buhari and i know he means well for the masses bt my problem are those thieves in his cabinet abi na party.
It's high time he stepped up to d task ahead.
Rather than his chief parrot lai mohammed and co blaming it's predecessors, they should start thinking of ways to take us out of this mess.
BH keeps bombing, fuel scarcity still lingers, robbery is on d increase, foodstuff and ware are still expensive...one can confidently say NOW and THEN no difference

    1. Hmm well said. If he fails no one will blame the people around him, we voted BUHARI not those hoodlums around him. He should learn from Jonathan. The worst a president can have around him are bad advisers and people who keep singing praises to him even when he's going in the wrong direction. May God help this country. These are really hard times!

All of that benefited from d massive looting of jonathan govt wil see nothing good abt dis govt. Dont kno buhari is capable of manufacturing money. Jonathan spent during is campaign like money is going out of fashion. Bloggers that made their money thru those campaign money wil now come and sing hardwork, hardwork or grace? The country is in financial mess, take or u leave it. Oga opinion onise!

Of course with his rumored illicit affair with the late Stella OBJ. And from his financial gains he was able to birth his chain of conglomerates. So what the heck! Dude is now coming to play holier than thou.

  8. Buhari is a confused man. Always blaming GEJ, that old Daura man forgot he was voted by some choiceless Nigerians all in the name of delivering change, yet all he has achieved in the last 6months is give foolish excuses. Somebody better tell that man that he was not voted into power to remind Nigerians of the past, he was voted to correct the so called mistakes. If this man does not have the brain to lead Nigeria to the promise land, he should resign and stop been foolish. Enough of the lies from Buhari and APC, how can they be in power and our economy is getting worse by the day, instead the illiterate Buhari will make things work, he's busy casting blaming GEJ that left office six months ago. Buhari is like a barren new wife that is blaming her mate for her inability to conceive. Buhari is the face of cluelessnes. Shame on all those that voted this man full of lies. The series of excuses Buhari is given for failing in the past 6 months is disgusting. APC sabotaged GEJ's administration making him look like someone that does not know what he's doing, now they APC are in power without anyone sabotaging their government, yet they are dormant.

  13. Well said. Enough of the blame game Mr president. Nobody said it will be easy leading a nation like ours but you just have to do your best. Trading blames is really a sign of incompetence not even helplessness which won't get this administration anywhere if it continues.

  14. What can he do well, when he is filled with vengeance.

  15. My question is,where was Ben Bruce when GEJ was the President? I never heard one word from him.Now does it mean GEJ was a wonderful president? I just taya!

  19. Buhari should be fast, everywhere is so tight nd people are suffering. Dunno if the the economy has ever been worse than this

  20. Well said Ben Bruce

Stop the blame game and lead the country to the right position. Everything has been stagnant for the pass 6monthd. No flow of cash in the economy. Business men and women are complaining. Nothing is working. Jonathan wasn't leading us right according to you but things weren't stagnant like this. You keep complaining there is no fund yet you can go from country to country seeking for investors and tarnishing the economy in their sight. How them would investors be attracted?? No one wants to invest in a dead zone.

To be honest, this man had L the good media and press but he is actually more clueless than the last president.. Saying you can't pay your ministers is alarming. Making Nigerians to things Nigeria is so broke meanwhile we have been selling crude for the past months. What the hell?? All the money that has been going into the oil sector and agricultural sector since you took over where the hell is it?? You aren't even business savvy.. You are all talk and no work..

Naira is on the rise, boko haram still killing. Things expensive. I thought you asked us to give you 3 months to combat them. This same international help the last president was seeking and you were criticizing is what you are doing

The annoying thing is the things GEJ did last before leaving power is what we Nigerians are enjoying something like light and people think it was your efforts. Please do something already

And just in case yall want to rant under my comments, I didn't vote during the last election because there was no candidate worthy enough. I'm yet to see a good leader. If I were pdp, I'll go and regroup again and leave apc alone because if positive directions are not taking apc will do more harm to the economy than good

  27. I remember when Etcetera gave constructive criticism about Buhari's administration, people shouted at him and argued it was too early to complain. Buhari had 2 good months to get everything right before his swearing in. instead he came on board and started complaining about Jonathan's government and his supporters were jeering him on.
See what is happening now...Ben Bruce is complaining now that 6 months of no action is wrong but i say 1 day of no progress is pathetic. All APC wanted was to overthrow PDP which they have done, nothing else, absolutely nothing else was on their agenda.

Buhari, you can stil complain about the mess that Jonathan created. We all know but whilst u are it, can you also work as well pls? That way, u achieve two things. Thank you Mr President
