Awka's Changing Landscape And Skyline

''Awka the capital city of Anambra state is gradually undergoing a rebirth, thanks to the vision of Governor Willie Obiano who has been the governor for only 18 months.

I took this picture earlier today at the popular Aroma junction and felt very proud. Who would have thought that 'big idea' projects like this flyover bridge at Aroma junction Awka would ever be built in Anambra state? Or the 2 other ones being built at Kwata and Amawbia junctions.

Ongoing construction of Aroma junction (Awka) Flyover bridge

The changing landscape and skyline of Awka is a further testimony to what Ndi Anambra have been saying for long; Willie is Working. Please support!''

    2. Which Willie? Please let's stop this partisan politics, these projects were Started by Peter Obi and he had gone so far before willie took over. I will also commend him for not abandoning the project like the others he scrapped.

  13. BV please kindly let Wilkie know that we need a roundabout at Oye-agu Abagana....traffic there was horrible last Christmas. It really affected people coming from neighboring towns.
Again, will this idea of every commoner who can afford a g-wagon and range-rover sport, moving around with mopols and adding to the traffic congestion stop already??????
    Willie Biko do something.

  15. This rubbish bridge. Why didn't the poster send from either end(beginning and end) rather than the middle. The designers and contractors need to locked up for this rubbish. I stay in Asia and go this this junction everyday to work and my eye bleeds.

  16. If only Rochas would copy this Gov instead of owing workers and converting Locall Govt and bailout money into his personal use.
