Armed Policemen Chasing Unarmed Civilians...

If you were driving down carefully and suddenly see a police van with armed Policemen asking you to stop, what would you do knowing if you stop, there is a possibility that they might shoot and loot you and  if you run,you are in deeper trouble.....

This is a blog Visitor Chioma eye witness report....

''Stella dear
This happen right in front of my gate now now.
I heard shouts and looked out and saw this police hilux chasing the white car carrying a passengers, they double crossed the car, jumped out, dragged down the driver and started beating, kicking and dragged him to the back of the car.

I got all that on video before I started snapping  but it won't send‎.
Now, from the explanation the police men are giving, they tried to stop the guy to search him but he didn't stop and they started chasing him and the guy was using them to do gege. They caught up with him eventually after a long chase and started beating the hell out of him and insisting he and his passengers will follow them to the station.

The guy on white carrying a child‎ is one of the passengers and they pushed him into their vehicle.
3 days ago a similar incident happened just a little backwards from where this one happened and it was police chasing okada guy, they actually hit the okada guy and he tumbles from his bike and broke his head. Blood was everywhere and the still carried the guy like that with his Bike away.
I really don't get this, because I don't know if it's right or wrong for police men to be chasing people but the torture part is what I see as wrong.

In this guy's case now I feel it's the fear of police that made him run cos they searched the vehicle and didn't find anything and the guy was shaking with so much fear. You can even see someone trying to help him out of the sun''.

    3. I don't think d poster wld hv written that way if she cld do better. If u had d opportunity to learn and speak correct English, doesn't mean u shld throw shades or try to bring down others. Poster tried her best to relate her info to public, so I advice u pick d news and go blind to d written Eng. My advice, nvr criticize others cos ur not better.

  10. He has no right to run. He should have stoped. If he is innocent the police wont do anything to him. It once happened to me when i was going to mamallete event last saturday, they stopped me and checked my particulars and it was complete and asked for change and after that i drove off. Running away will tell them u might be hiding some thing. If the man is innocent he would have stop... So the man is at fault but police people should take it easy cos we all re humans

  11. Hian! But why did he run na? Something must be wrong somewhere.

  12. But why didn't the driver stop?
    Only the guilty is afraid.
The driver turned himself and his passengers to suspects by running when he was flagged down.
They were lucky these set of policemen didn't have itchy fingers on the trigger.
It would have been another story all together by now.

    1. He didn't stop cos he was afraid. Not necessarily cos illegal possession(d poster said d police guys searched d vehicle and found nothing)or no documentation but cos of Raw fear.

But den, even if he was wrong in running. Does that justify these power-drunken policemen to not just chase him (he could have had an accident u know) and beat him up.stomping on his whole body wit dose deir wicked police boots?
Does it make it right for them to bundle even d oda passengers,a mere child inclusive to d station???

See how dat guy is all covered in dust and made to sir on d bare mud-red ground???

This is not fair one bit!
      This POLICE BRUTALITY!

PS-The necessary Authority should look into dis. Esp dis case.and give us answers ASAP.Thank God dere is a video of dis wickedNess.

@The Cab guy,nna sorry. Pls next time dey stop u.pls try and conquer ur fear and Stop.ok?

    2. Don't mind Dem, I know naija police are bunch of nuisance but how can a police man on uniform stop u den u still be driving? U can't try dat sh!t in a civilized country. At d flash of police light u will see everyone parking and asking if d light was for Dem to stop hissssssds respect dey say is reciprocal.

  18. NPF are the worst being in Nigeria, incompetent and lazy morons, attacking innocent civilians, yet when they see armed robbers, you won't see them

    ReplyDelete
  19. These people called NPF are just given too much freedom to act as they wish. It's getting to a point where citizens will start hunting them down. What rubbish! I detest their animalistic behaviours with a passion. When you expect them to chase robbers robbing banks everywhere now, you won't find them , rather they'll be at one joint taking "baby oku, opa eyin or eperesin" mtchewww

  20. Nigeria police will never change..wtf..

  21. The driver is also at fault by not stopping. He should be grateful they didn't shoot at the vehicle while chasing him.

  22. Robberies occur in Lagos every damn day! Them no dey dey house when e dey happen,na to dey beat people.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Police right from time like over sabi work

    ReplyDelete
  24. This is terrible. Though, the driver was wrong to have started running, yet the policemen should not have brutalized him.

I always tell my folks that if the NPF puts same effort they use to molest citizens in combating crime in this country, Nigeria will be a FAR better country.

BVs that talk down on others always left me SMH. Even if you don't live in 'hood' like d poster, are you in a competition with the poster? It's very bad when we become callous just to put others in sad moods. All fingers are not equal pls you guys should grow up.
