A Cry For Help - Please Help Save Baby Jana!!!

Baby Jana needs your help......HELLO!!!

My name is Erhiga Janelle Efenarhua, the mother of 3yr old Jana Ebruvwiyo Angaye, who was born with three holes in the heart and a damaged right lung.
In March 2013, Jana had a surgery in India to close 2 of the holes and remove the damaged lung but the largest of the holes couldn't be done due to her weight then and was scheduled to return back after she turned two years old and she must have gained a weight of 10kg but she hasn't gone back since due to lack of funds.

She has since been routinely monitored at Delta State University Teaching Hospital with several hospital admissions.
However since October she has been having complications.
An echo scan was carried out 13th November, 2015 showed she's just 2.8% from having a heart failure. She is 35.8% and before an individual can have a heart failure he/she must have 33%.

If she goes into a reversal it will result to a lung transplant because she currently has one lung and her chances of survival is very slim.
The biggest hole in the heart has grown bigger as she is growing bigger too.
She has turned blue and her lips are black.
The doctor has advised she should be taken to India immediately to avoid losing her.

He has estimated the cost of Surgery between $50, 000 - 68, 000 as baby Jana will be in the ICU for about six months for proper medical evaluation, monitoring and follow-up.
I have a deadline to raise this money before the end of November to enable her to go to India ASAP.
I am appealing to well meaning Nigerians to come to my aid and help save the life of my daughter. Let's give her a second chance to live. I beg of you all. We did it before through the help of God, we can still do it again.
Nothing is too small any amount will be highly appreciated.

Please save baby Jana.
This is a cry for help.

Jana's mum,
Erhiga Janelle Efenarhua

Please if you know any Organisation or private individual that can help save this little girl's life, please forward this cry for help to them
God bless you.

This country is loosing so much in seeking treatment abroad, esp where one is not that buoyant. Before then we pray that God sustain ur baby till she gets permanent solution in Jesus name.

  28. It is time for Nigerian Government to send their doctors for compulsory one year sponsored training to India and Germany so they can learn how to treat some of these diseases.

    1. My dear it's time for Nigerian government to use that money and equip teaching hospitals in December country with sophisticated contemporary facilities with which such cases can be handled. Nigerian trained doctors who migrated to developed countries are excelling in all specialties. It's not dat our brains aren't sharp enough, its d whole system. To perform open heart surgery you need a heart-lungs machine to support the patients life while u work on D heart..... How many hospitals In Nigeria Hv lifesupport facilities ?..common surgical instruments here are rusted and blunt From age. D health sector needs comprehensive overhauling... Dr olaspecial. Buhari pls just close eye do am.

  40. Anon 11:28 nothing stops you from paying tithes and helping the little girl. Stop being a naive girl when it comes to tithe. It is already in the Bible, you cannot change it unless you want caterpilla, cankerworm, etc to deal with you.

  42. The problem is not Nigerian Doctors, but the system itself. Number 1, they don't even have the facilities or equipment for proper training or experience.
Number 2, they don't even have the zeal to work, they are not in a condusive environment, gens packing up, smtimes they will be washing their hands before sugery from water in a drum. No running water sometimes in Luth. How can humanbeings work like that. Its like a banker working in a bank, no AC,ur counting machines are not working, you post entries manually etc.
Thirdly, the pay is crap. You see most specialist in Luth having to shuttle btw private hospitals, just to make ends meet.
Ever wondered why most of our doctors/surgeons, even nurses go to the US, and are a success there. Some are even known for their diligence and hardwork. Even the nurses, they get there and are hard working, meanwhile in Nigeria they work like they are being forced to come to work.
I'm not saying these Doctors are saints, they also have their problems, but the main
problem is lack of structure and funding in medical field in Nigeria. When our leaders travel abroad just to cure headache.
I wish this baby well, I don't blame the mother for needing to go to India, most ppl don't have confidence in the Nigerian health system especially for surgery.

  43. How I wish one of our big churches in Nigeria can just sponsor this little boy 's treatment abroad.
