      God is definitely amazing!!!! But this happens when the water temperature differs...it also happens in the same ocean but both sides have different temperatures.
      Yes, I have seen it happen, a lot.

    It's not two oceans meeting, its glacial melt water meeting the off shore waters of gulf of Alaska.
    The reason for this strange phenomenon is due to the difference of  water density, temperature and salinity of the glacial melt water and off shore waters of gulf of Alaska, making it difficult to mix.
    Horizontal Stratification of water is common , however the above phenomenon shows vertical stratification. 
    Its  falsehood to think that this two waters dont mix up at all. They do eventually mix, the borders between these two water bodies is not static, they move around and disappear altogether.- courtesy google

He made it so and man had to give it a name.density o,temperature difference,salinity bla black black are all naturally occurring here.not man made.man only looked at the scientific aspect and gave names.so return the glory to God and keep moving.

    God is great but I feel so sad right now.I live in kuje and after the blast the atmosphere is so tensed up that as I took my kids to the local parish for mass,you have to drop your bags even biscuits at the gate house.you have to open your wrapper for inspection too.I felt so undignified that I just turned and went back home.it .might look like ego but I felt a kind of deep pain in me its as if I was already a criminal .what will happen tomorrow when we set for work,what about the children's school,market,Sdkers I feel so betrayed by my country. When will this trauma end?when?

    This happened because fresh water glaciers melted and flowed to join the ocean water. Because of the difference in the salinity and densities of these two water bodies, a surface tension developed between them that acts like a thin wall which prevents them from mixing. The boundary between the two is outlined by a thin layer of foam. According to scientists, this story will get its happy ending; given enough time, the differences between these two bodies will disappear and they will merge together.

    FThese two bodies of water were merging in the middle of The Gulf of Alaska and there was a foam developing only at their junction. It is a result of the melting glaciers being composed of fresh water and the ocean has a higher percentage of salt causing the two ocean bodies of water to have different densities and therefore makes it more difficult to mix.NA
