Optiweb Communications Limited, a leading Tech firm empowering innovations and excellence in Mobile Solutions powers Project Innovate 2015 – a fund/mentorship bouquet to turn that innovative idea of yours into a reality!

The 2015 Project Innovate Youth Campaign sponsored by Optiweb Communications Limited is aimed at recognizing and assisting tech innovations and creativity. Project Innovate competition is looking for the best productive services and tangible ideas that address the key innovation opportunities on mobile/digital services.

We know that a lot of youths in this country have creative ideas. However, these creative ideas are suppressed most times due to funding and mentorship. Consequently, these great ideas and creativity die a natural death. Optiweb Communications Ltd is giving out a Tech Fund of Five Hundred Thousand 

Naira (N500,000) plus a mentorship partnership with selected winners for a tech revolution. 

HOW IT WORKS

PHASE ONE: Discuss Your Idea

Visit http://www.optiwebng.com/registration.php Interested participants can register by applying through the link provided. Note that submissions can come from the following areas: Financial Technology solution, Transport/Logistics, Medical Delivery solution, Education and other areas. 

Upon vetting of entries, successful applicants would receive an email confirmation on how to move to phase two of the competition.

PHASE TWO: Shortlisting

Participants selected will be notified for an interview with Optiweb team.

PHASE THREE: Winner Emerges

Three winners will be selected and will receive the sum of five hundred thousand Naira (N500,000) cash prize each, as well as tutoring from Optiweb technical and product development team. A well-furnished office space will be provided for winners for a period of time.

Project Innovate competition focuses on key innovation opportunities to help people live life with the ease of technology. Success in this competition requires original and well-researched entries around tech innovation and creativity as we are looking to reward new ways of tackling the gap in mobile and digital services.

IDEA FEASIBILITY

Our mantra is “Ideas well nurtured leads to Innovation, which in turn ignite startups”. Entrants will need to clearly defend their idea, plus plans to bring it to life and how it can scale to help more people and generate revenue. Entrants must be specific on how funds raised will be used to progress their project. Successful ideas MUST solve an unmet need (or make an existing need better) and have a meaningful connect in technology.

TERMS AND CONDITION

Participants must understand and agree that profit made by such participant that will emerge a winner, will be shared evenly with Optiweb communications after the establishment of such individual in business, meanwhile free office space will be available for the time being for the winner. All participants must note that competition is strictly within Nigeria.
