ReplyDeleteI'm yet to understand aw dis time changing stuff works. Will u use ur hand to set d time urself. Cos I dunno aw we will be using same time one moment and d next thing someone Is hour(s) behind.
ReplyDeleteAwww som1 should pls explain to this babe. She confessed once that she's never stepped foot outside naija so she doesn't know jack. The time changes during the winter and summer. Summer time the time goes fwd by an hour, and winter, which is now, the clock goes back by an hour. So u set the time yourself to suit the period as indicated above. Not that u deserved this schooling, but outta pity I took d pain to school ur ignoramus sadistic brain.

DeleteCongrats miss Anambra
ReplyDeleteDon't really understand. His does it affect our own timing over here!
ReplyDeleteDon't really understand. How does it affect our own timing over here!
ReplyDeleteSeriously i don't understand what you said Stella. Whatever, just let us know the Nigerian time for in house news.
DeleteIt doesn't affect Nigerian time since Naija is in the tropics.
DeleteThe Idea is basically to save or make better use of daylight (DayLight Saving) and according to history to save energy.
For countries that experiences summer, winter etc, daylight hours is longer in summer than in winter (remember longer days shorter nights in geography class?) so the clock is shifted forward in summer to save or take advantage of the longer daylight. During winter, it is set back to standard time(hence the changing back & forth).
Those countries in the tropical region e.g Naija do not have to make any change since the length of daytime and night time are nearly same.
I really don't think it makes a big difference anyway.
This is what I believe it is, not google!
Stella, it's freezing here. Too cold, oh my God!
ReplyDeleteGood news for those who load all the credit on IHN! Now they can set their alarms. Lol!
ReplyDeleteHmmm
ReplyDeleteAre we now on the same time zone?
ReplyDeleteNo.
DeleteWe dey for tropical region,so not applicable to naija.
